I know the lsat wants us to overthink, but sometimes I overthink TOO much. my thought process was "the stimulus only says they have 2 to 3 feet on the ground, so what if it's only necessary to have ONE foot on the ground and it's considering running" ugh.

Mental Fatigue or Another Issue?

Hi guys! I've recently had an issue and just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem/knows how to work towards solving it.

I'll do fine on practice sections, I typically get around 5 wrong, give or take a few. Im doing these under the normal timed conditions as well.

But when it comes to the actual PT itself (which I try my absolute best to adhere to actual test conditions in) I'm always scoring in the lower end of the 150's.

I don't know if this is test anxiety, mental fatigue, or what. I'm just posting this to see if anyone else has had this issue so I don't feel completely crazy, and also seeing if anyone who's had this issue has found a way to fix it.

Thanks! :)

I've encountered so many questions where the explanation of why an answer choice was wrong was "just because it's difficult/stressful/tedious etc to do something doesn't mean it can't be done". Is this assumption only allowed in this context because with POE its the only viable answer choice w the least amount of assumptions? #help

I think the stimulus explanation is super confusing in the video because we didn't read (at least in the video) over the second persons text before evaluating the first persons text. So when JY was talking about curators v founders and whether something was appropriate or not, I had no clue what he was talking about for like 5 minutes because the second part of the text had been clipped away from the video, and so it sounded like these terms were coming from thin air. Maybe add something to this lesson telling students to pause and read the entire stimulus before going into the eval of the first speaker?

With these videos, is JY explaining every possible reason as to why each incorrect answer is incorrect, or is he providing us with just a few reasons that directly align with the curriculum? I got the answer correct, but for example, my rationale for A was that "precise" is not consistent with "half a billion" . I have had this happen a few times where I identify the incorrect answers for reasons not explicitly stated in the video and just want to make sure this isn't a too dangerous of a mistake #help

Someone said this on the previous lesson in this series, however I think it would be a lot more helpful to use A and B in the sentences or when writing out the Lawgic putting representative letters.

If someone is already confused on what about the structure is correct/incorrect, not clearly being able to define what each term represents makes the explanation significantly more difficult #feedback

Im only a week into studying, but for question 11 how can we assume that "less than half" automatically guarantees at least one?

I know the LSAT wants you to make only certain assumptions, but can anyone explain to me why this is one of the assumptions they want you to make? Is it just because they would have put "none" if they meant none?

Same thought tbh, I thought it was C until I did my BR. I'm assuming it is because of the fact that "hanging in any prestigious museum".

1. Seeing many paintings of the same caliber (ie. not produced by an amateur) hanging in a museum is a completely different context than what the stimulus set up, two paintings with different information behind them. In the stimulus, the paintings are only modified by the background info of who painted it, not where they are.

2. "any" prestigious museum. Overall I've learned to be wary of large assumptions like this on MSS questions (not to say they can't be incorrect, just wary of them). That being said, once again the stimulus is only comparing two different paintings, not paintings in any museum anywhere.

Hope this helps! 7sage pisses me off too when they do that lol
