I was confused about this as well but upon review I understand. If you would take a snapshot of a sample with sodium vs without the one with has more. What could contribute to that? Maybe the sodium is dissolving the fluoride stuff quicker which is why there is more. Compared to the other sample where it’s dissolving normally and yielding the standard/lesser amount of fluoride.

@nnechi95 actually thinking through this again C is wrong because we don't know anything about the motor nerve needing to regenerate in 3months. We only know that about the sheath.

Originally selected C but then D on Blind Review. C is wrong because its talking about the severed motor nerve and not the nerve sheath. If it was referring to the original nerve sheath I think that would have been a better answer. D is the best answer because the question is "If true" whats most strongly supported. D actually has a lot of support from the stimulus to be selected as the correct answer.

I got this wrong. I chose D at first and then C in Blind Review. B makes sense as the correct answer when looking at the question stem. Its asking what Passage B is more of when compared to Passage A.

D doesn't work because Passage A is equally as respectful and honestly objective. C doesn't work either because Passage A is very sure of its claim, its not tentative at all.

B makes the most sense because it compares the focus of both passages. Again go back to the question stem (i.e., what is passage B more of). Passage A is more specific and talking about a specific case/application. Passage B is broader talking about fingerprinting in general.

What I am learning is to make sure you understand what the question is actually asking. Sometimes it could seem like they are asking for the differences in passages when they are actually looking for the difference in relationship in a specific context.

When considering the difference between B and C, is it fair to say that C is the weaker option because "ensue" is a strong word that tries to guarantee an outcome vs in B "increase" acknowledges that political instability is a possibility/could be more likely based on the language in the stimulus?

@xlvovska162 Thanks for this explanation! This was the only one that made sense to me.

I got E right but my flow chart was wrong. Do you know why that could be? I had it as:

Premise 1: if proven by obs --> not math prop

Premise 2: if math prop --> not possible to know if true

I then took the contrapositives of each to see how to link them and got:

Flow 1: if proven by obs --> possible to know if true --> not math proposition

Flow 2 (Contrapositive of Flow 1): if math prop --> not possible to know if true --> not proven by obs

Answer choice E was the one that fit Flow 1 but unsure if that was just luck because the flow I have differs from others
