Changes Since 2016?

Hey Team!

I studied for the LSAT religiously in 2016 via 7Sage, and took the December 2016 LSAT (scored a 172). I ended up not getting into my top choice, and consequently changed plans (completed an M.A. instead).

That said, I'm planning on retaking the LSAT this July with the hopes of bumping my score up a few points. Has anything notable changed in the past four years that I need to be aware of? E.g., different question types, different question/section trends, etc.

Thanks!

Value in Attending LSAC Law School Forum

Hey Team,

Is there a competitive value in attending the LSAC Law School Forum? That is, does attending the forum and (electronically) engaging with law schools we are interested in benefit our application, or is the value of it limited to just asking law schools questions one may have about their application process?

Thanks!

hey @ !

thanks for the feedack.

i'm referring to cancelling the score after i taking it.

given that i'm concerned about the impact of scoring lower than a previous score, if that was in fact an issue, then i would lean towards cancelling the score if i felt i didn't improve (e.g., not finishing all the questions from a game or reading section).

Is there any harm in cancelling one's score? I'm registered for the July Flex, and am not scoring where i'd like to be... (I previously scored a 172, and am retaking it to bump it up; however, all my PTs of late have been averaging around 172, and i know i'm not where i need to be to make the increase i'd like).

On a related note, is there harm to retaking and scoring lower? I.e., will schools consider lower scores that come in after previously higher score, or will they disregard them in favor of the higher score?

Thank team 🙏
