an in-depth wrong answer journal has helped me a ton!! i really focus on why i chose the wrong answer and what i can do differently. it's helped me identify a lot of habits (like overthinking and changing my answer) that were hurting my score. comparing what you're doing wrong with what with your thought process is in BR will help
i'm the same way, there was pretty much no talking though just sounds of movement/coughing/etc
It's very helpful to be able to adjust before starting! I sometimes have to study on the go and therefore in settings that are less than ideal for studying/focusing lol, so being able to choose to do untimed drills for those times was perfect.
Timed drills are important, but it's not always feasible to do them every time.
