Hey! I'm just trying to get an idea of what information i'll need on test day to fill out the forms properly?
will we get enough time and guidance on this on test day?
I'm sure others are wondering too.
Thanks!

Hey I am having a tough time with sufficient assumptions for some reason. Did anyone else have a harder time with them and find a resource that really helped? it just isn't clicking yet. Any suggestions? thanks in advance
I am currently wondering if Lsat hacks is worth the investment and whether or not it's similar to 7sage explanations. Have you gained anything from LSAT hacks that you did not gain from other prep material?
you'll be able to get through this with practice. It's a time sensitive test so don't look at it as a regular university test. gotta adapt to your circumstances.
I took preptest 68 and scored very differently on the two LR sections. i am a bit perplexed by the discrepancy. How does one get 85% on one of the LR sections and then 56% on the second LR section? I did them timed during a full practice test and THEN redid both sections, timed as well, and got the same score on a different day. I redid them to make sure that the second sections failure wasn't an accident. The difficulty level of the second LR section is clearly much more difficult for me. I would say 85% on the first section is a great outcome but the second section killed my score overall. any tips or explanations for the difference in difficulty? Do i need to go back to fundamentals? do preptests usually have one section of the LR that is SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult in comparison to the other? thanks in advance!
Hey folks,
I'm having a hard time with RC. I take way too long and the notes (words, circling, and underlining) I make on the passages almost never help me. Any strategies that have helped you improve would be greatly appreciated!
Hey 7Sage friends, i took pre-test 68 and scored very differently on the two LR sections. i am a bit perplexed by the discrepancy. How does one get 85% aka 22/26 on the first section of LR on a preptest and then get 56% aka14/25 on the second section of LR on the same preptest? I did both of them timed during a full practice test and THEN redid both sections, timed as well, and got the same score on a different day. I redid them to make sure that the second sections failure wasn't an accident. The difficulty level of the second LR section is clearly much more difficult for me. @ I think this is a wonderful opportunity for law school's to look at their applicants from a more personal viewpoint, and not just as numbers.
you'll do awesome! Just be genuine :)
@ you don't have to PT with 5 sections
i never did this and i scored within my range on the real test. I honestly don't think an extra 35 minutes will change anything. The test goes by fast after the administrative stuff is out of the way. I suggest doing PTs with the app because you have the option of including noise. That was my main concern on test day and thank goodness there was no out of the ordinary noise. The proctors were respectful and did not talk during the test but this is not a guarantee so getting accustomed to some noise is a great idea. Another thing to work on is getting sleep before the test and i think this will occur if you're adequately prepared for the test. The more prepared you are, the less stress you have to deal with. The more I hit my target score, the more i felt prepared and the less I stressed out about the test.
So i will be getting my preptest 79 november 28 or 29. what should i do with this preptest before the december lsat? it will only be a few days before the real deal. should i just do a blind review and try the Logic games timed? any advice will be appreciated. I'm sure there are others with this predicament.
@ I don't think these take place in Ontario so unable to help on this one!
haha some Canadian law schools do interviews: Osgoode and Dalhousie for sure do interviews very late in the cycle. People who are admitted early on do not get interviewed by them. Interviews take place around April and May I believe.
Hey! Does anyone have a list of outlier logic games and LR questions from PT 60-78? For those writing in September but don't have the time to go through all those PTs. I'm still unsure if I'm taking the September test. Time is ticking :( I'm planning to take PT 72 this saturday before I make a decision. Thanks in advance!
hey guys, how long does it take to BR and do you have a systematic approach that works best for you? I feel like i need to experiment a bit with my BR process. Thanks in advance!
I'm starting my second year of law school in Canada and I can also help with any questions.
I'm at an Ontario school.
I score around 50-60 % on this section. What should I do for the next 19 days before the December test? I've tried the lsat trainer.. it didn't really do much for me. My main issue is timing. i always have to guess on an entire passage. Any tips? guidance is needed. Thanks!

To those studying, good luck! Believe me, all the hard work will pay off. There were so many days when I thought there was no progress and that i'd be lucky to get into ONE law school, and now here I am unable to make a decision about my law school acceptances and stressing out. It's kinda crazy.
Aww yay! I'm so glad to hear you say that lol. 'Cause I feel that way practically everyday lol. Glad you're feeling better! Go out there and rule the world! :)
Thank you! if you ever need any advice or encouragement, i am here!
Hey everyone,
I am waiting for my December LSAT score and i just registered for the February LSAT just in case i don't get my target score. I've already applied to schools this cycle and they are all waiting for my december results. This question might be premature since I might have done well on my December LSAT but do you believe one can improve with only one month of studying? I would start studying after my score comes out if I fall short, which gives me January to February. I've finished the core curriculum. I think my main weakness may be the logic games section this past test. I genuinely have no clue what i got on that section but i'll be happy with a 70%. I felt like i was guessing a lot even though i felt adequately prepared for the logic games section and was looking forward to it after my 15 minute break. I honestly can't explain what went wrong. I did take a few days off of studying before my December test and i'm wondering if that had something to do with it. Generally, it's the RC section that gives me trouble. FYI, I have consistently scored my target score during practice tests, so I felt ready to write in December and i wasn't nervous or tired during test day. LG might have gone horribly wrong, i just don't know.
if you don't show up on test day then you don't lose an attempt. i'm 100% positive. cancelling has nothing to do with it. as long as you don't show up, you do not lose an attempt.

I completed my applications for three schools before writing the LSAT (Dec was my first and only take). BUT I checked today and they all show that my LSAT score is still outstanding.
Hi, same exact boat but there's no need to worry. I called a school today and they had my score even though it's not updated online. :) it just takes time, so be patient.
@ Thank you so much!
@ Thank you so much! You're right.
@ Thank you!! haha I'm excited about new school shirts :) It may be the FIRST time ever I develop school pride because law school is something I worked so hard for. it's not the same as getting into an undergraduate or MA program. By the way, I appreciate your analogy!
@ Thank you so much! I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. You telling me you felt this way and understand my thoughts is very reassuring. There are lots of things to be excited for :)
@ thank you! You're right. I should schedule a trip to the school... that will help me visualize my life there as a law student.

Hi guys,
I really need some advice. I applied to the University of Victoria in BC, Canada. My index score (based on my GPA and LSAT) is quite high compared to most of the students who have posted about their acceptance on lawstudents.ca. BUT I applied on Jan 15, five minutes before the deadline... I did not do a good job on my personal statement, despite being a good writer, because I was anxious and procrastinated for far too long. I have this uneasy feeling that this HUGE mistake (which I know was a major fuck up) might have cost me my acceptance. What's the best thing to do now? Just wait patiently and hope for the best or get in contact with the admissions team? I mean, I don't know what I would say, I just know that I really want to get in...
At a loss for next steps... has anyone had this happen?
Thanks so much ♡
P.S., no I am not being hard on myself. My PS actually sucked.
what makes you think your personal statement sucked? unless there are gross spelling and grammar errors, i think you'll be fine since you said you're above their lsat and gpa average. are you above it by a lot? if not, then yeah maybe there's something to worry about.
@ If you're gonna do it, make sure you ask the mom too. Because equality.
YES THANK YOU!
Hey guys,
I just upgraded from the starter to premium. I'm not sure how to proceed. I'm almost certain now that i will be writing in December instead of September. Mainly because I haven't done any recent practice tests. I've only gotten to PT 39 (timed). The premium goes up to PT 58. My main question is when should i start doing recent preptests? I have the rest of September, October and November to study and I'm not sure how to proceed considering I only have explanations for up to PT58 on 7sage and have no experience with more recent tests! Thanks in advance!
during the timed test i got to the 4th game and froze. any similar games? i kept rereading the paragraph to understand the set up for it. what were your thoughts?
Hey all, i've been accepted to 4 law schools in Canada and wait listed at 2. Waiting to hear back from 3 others.
I don't know why but i've lost my excitement. I start in September and I need to get excited about law school again before i start. I've started to feel more and more nervous and I don't know how to shake it off. Part of the reason I am nervous is because I have yet to make a decision about which school to attend. I feel like i am at a crossroads in my life and big changes are about to happen. I'm sure there are other 7sages in this situation so if you've found a way to get excited and cope, please share!
Thank you.
Does anyone know if OLSAS keep letters of recommendations on file for an extended period of time? I am wondering this because I applied a couple of years ago and I'm reapplying this year. If they keep letters on file, then i won't need to ask my professors again
Hey guys, any tips on balancing these three tasks? Am I the only one who has a difficult time balancing and prioritizing?
Hey guys,
I am registered for the September LSAT and 7sage recommends i take preptest 39-44 before test day. I've done 36, 37 and 38 so far (timed). I'm wondering if I should take the 6 most recent preptests timed since the newer ones can be different from the older tests and no one wants surprises on test day.... if i follow 7sage recommendations, i would be oblivious to the new tests. Do preptests change dramatically enough for me to worry about this problem? Any advice? Thanks in advance.
done! check inbox
which practice tests in the 70s should I take between now and the December test? any ideas? will taking about 6 of them be enough before the test? I have to take the december test.
NO, thankfully. That is not academically related. for example, plagiarism would be something to report on
Hey guys,
I wrote the December LSAT but i indicated that i might be writing the February lsat on my OLSAS applications (Canada). Does this mean they won't review my application until after the February results come out? Does anyone know?
@ now realistically Western (I did my undergrad here and they love to take alum
interesting. how do you know they love to take alums? is this standard for most schools in ontario? also what was your major? i know business is their focus. when you say you did poorly do you mean less than 157? i know people who got into Western with 157
Congratulations!!!!!

I have a story to share for those who are at a crossroads. Keep in mind that I am overwhelmed with emotions that my grammar & steneces may be off. But I knew the best time to write this would be when I was in this state of mind. I took the LSAT October 2015 & did not perform well-at all. I was devastated because that meant I had to take a whole year off & I didn't know what my next should be. I decided you know what I'll try this 7Sage curriculum-what else do I have to lose. After relearning the LSAT, rigorous hours of prep tests, & preptalks I decided to retake the LSAT in December 2016. I promised myself that no matter my score I would write about my experience with 7Sage to help other students that are in the same boat as I am. Because trust me, I had thoughts about whether I should quit on my dreams & just settle. Well I just found out, like five minutes ago that I got accepted into the school that I had been wanting to since I began this incredible journey!! So those of you that can relate don't give up, keep trying, & have faith! So with alllll that said, THANK YOU SO MUCH 7Sage you seriously were a huge part of the beginning of my legal education!
Sorry so long!! :)
YAY CONGRATS!!

@ Hi! Ok thats great to hear, I wasn't sure if it would be the same test all across the board or different one's for those of us writing at a different time/date. I will probably be on here creeping the boards because I feel like it would be way too challenging not to!
maybe read some posts but with a grain of salt. a lot of people will complain about the lsat and say it was unfair or harder than usual blabla, so it's expected. Just remember that if you're ready then you're ready and what people say doesn't affect that.
thank goodness those days are over for me :D it's not a restful sleep when you're still solving puzzles in your head
what is an lsat score band and should i care?
lol so i took maybe 3 or 4 and trust me you do not need more than that. I ended up using 1.

Okay, so here's my story, it's long, so bear with me.
In November 2015, I applied for September 2016 admission. I hadn't touched the LSAT yet and I tried to study; however, I quickly realized it was too difficult as I was also in my final year of school (fifth year) and working a fairly demanding job on my days off. I had registered for the December LSAT but I withdrew prior to writing it as I knew nothing about the LSAT at this point. By February 2016 (the last accepted LSAT for the 2016 cycle), I realized it was better to take a year off and study for the LSAT properly. To be honest, applying during this cycle was a complete waste; however, at the time, I did not realize what the LSAT entailed and was told an anecdote where a girl studied for 6 weeks and got accepted, so I was basing my studying on 6 weeks.
I finished school in April 2016 and did not start studying right away because I had just completed my undergraduate and wanted some time off. Around June, I started studying using the Powerscore books, with the intention of writing the October LSAT. However, the week of the LSAT, I still did not feel prepared enough and I also did not really think I was benefiting from the Powerscore books as much as I could have, so the week of the October LSAT, I joined 7Sage (LSAT Premium). In the meantime, I applied for admission to the September 2017 cycle.
I enrolled for the December 2016 LSAT but the day before I realized I was still not ready (I had not even finished the core curriculum of 7sage at this point), and I withdrew. One of my friends ended up having a disturbance during their LSAT, which essentially wasted a take for her. As I only withdrew the day before the LSAT, I actually didn't tell my family and went to the test centre and wrote a PT instead that day in the library of the college I was supposed to be writing in. I also upgraded to LSAT Ultimate+.
Fast forward to today, I have improved a great deal (thanks to 7sage!!!) but I still do not feel completely ready. The first time I kind of rushed through the curriculum but now I have been going through the curriculum more slowly, as a result, I have not finished the Ultimate+, though I have finished the Premium Level. I went from a 147 LSAT in June to 161 on Test 64 two weeks ago. However, that is the only test I wrote where I scored in the 160s so far (I have not written any other PT since). Also, knowing the February LSAT is undisclosed also makes me slightly apprehensive because I won't be able to check my answers.
I know I can do better if I continue to study the way I have been studying now but I also don't know if I should waste another cycle and I feel like the girl who cried wolf in a sense that I always withdraw from my LSAT before I have written it, citing the need for more time. However, I would always apply for these tests prematurely, without actually being ready.
So, should I withdraw from tomorrow's LSAT or should I just write it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I also applied a cycle and never ended up writing the lsat for the same reason. I also ended up doing a 5th year and i was exhausted. I HIGHLY recommend taking a year off after finishing your fifth year-- it did wonders for me. You really do deserve more time.

I just withdrew! I registered for the December LSAT, and realized I was not ready. Today, the same. I wanted to write it because I also feel like the girl who cried wolf. But the fact remains I won't be getting into the school I want to get in to with my current PT score. Since you scored in the 160s, I would suggest timing/practicing one or two of your weakest sections. After make your decision. If those sections are similar to your lower PTs, it is probably best to not write. But if they are similar to 160, then its up to you. So funny, I feel pressured from friends and family to write the test tomorrow, so I will also attend school tomorrow and just do some practice tests.. Haha. My ultimate decision was based on knowing there's a possibility I can score my desired mark, but with extreme luck. In my case, I know its better after reading thread after thread to postpone, and study smarter. If you decide to write tomorrow, good luck!
yeah i would not count on "extreme luck" and i definitely waited until i scored my desired range more than 3 times. I believe i scored it at least 5 times but i'm not entirely sure. I ended up getting that exact score on test day.
Hello all, I postponed writing the September LSAT because I didn't do any of the 60s and 70s. Now I am registered for the December lsat and i'm wondering if my game plan is strong: so full timed PT 60,62,64,66,68, and ALL of the 70s before the real test. As you can see i'm not doing all of the 60s (I don't have enough time) and I'm wondering skipping 5 of them (doing every other one) is an okay game plan? I might just do timed LG sections for the ones i'm skipping.... any suggestions?
Congratulations!!
Fasting on its own isn't easy, and we all know studying for this test isn't easy; put them together, and that's a very tough combination for most people. I honestly can't imagine. I'm happy to know you're not having a tough time and have a positive outlook. BUT let's be real, it's TOUGH. Good luck! Ramadan Mubarak :)
