@ I went LG/LR/RC/LG/LR and the FIRST one was the experimental section with the new hires game that absolutely wrecked me (again 8 minutes no deductions or progress on questions). Went into 2 and 3 thinking, "well I guess I'll retake in December." When I got to 4 and saw another LG I was so ridiculously pumped, even though I thought there was almost no chance that they put an experimental section first, I was going nuts with excitement. Viruses tempered that excitement, but I laughed like a madman after I heard that was the real section.

Yo, those people that got the experimental LG section with the new hires and weeks off: did you solve it? It is the only game I've ever had that I couldn't do anything. I had 8 minutes left and guessed every question. Viruses was merciful by comparison after that nightmare.

Oh that's wonderful. Maybe we can meet up and piggyback on your group and then branch off when needed. Thank you!

I'm pleasantly surprised by the numerous responses and know we can be an effective review group, especially with these kind, amazing LSAT veterans by our side. Would early Saturday Afternoon in a central location work for people?

Excellent, hopefully more people respond as well, but it looks like we can attempt to meet on a few weekends and work through some particularly difficult problems. What practice tests have both of you taken?

David that sounds something I would enjoy, although I would not be able to blind review the most recent tests since I have not taken them yet.

Bruiser, haha or Ms. Woods, I was thinking either weekends or specific days that people can meet. I am shifting my focus solely to the LSAT now so I should be more flexible. As for target score, aren't we all trying to achieve mastery and get a 180? I have been scoring well and I believe this is an attainable, albeit unlikely goal. What times work for you (and for other people that discover this forum)?

Boston Area Study Group

Hello 7sagers and future sages,

Is anyone in the Boston Area interested in meeting to study, particularly about high difficultly questions and advanced techniques? I've heard that getting a real time perspective into your thought process can be eye opening and helping explain something forces you to get to that next level closer to mastery. If nothing else it would be fun to meet up and see how other people approach this beast with which we all must tango. Send me a message if you're in the area or want to Skype, and I look forward to conquering this mountain together!

Best Regards,

Peter Jones

Hmm lots of good info here. I should be more mindful about how I approach test days. Thanks you guys! Oh what are these snacks that you eat on test day? I have just been eating a Lara and/or protein bar, but am open to suggestions.

Do you guys actually sharpen your pencils during a test or just have like 8 pencils ready to go? I would assume the latter but I know one person recommends 5-15 second breaks during a test to center oneself so I was wondering if this could serve as a zen moment. Also I have basically been using whatever leftover pencils I found from my college days. Does anyone feel more confident with a particular pencil, simulating something similar to the white lab coat effect?
