@ Tbh, I have yet to do a PT this time around, let alone a more recent one.

Planning on doing the June '07 later today.

Guess I'll find out soon enough.

@ - Okay, lol, that's a comfort. Thanks! :)

I'm hoping that I will be able to get through the course faster than the 9 weeks the schedule allots and get through more PTs. I guess I was just taken aback a bit.

Too late to succeed?

Hello,

So I just recently (i.e. last night) registered officially with 7sage. I had been working with the Powerscore Logic Games bible, got uberly confused with some games, and turned to some of the 7sage videos online. Much easier to digest.

I wrote the June LSAT last year after just studing for a month and a half (some stuff came up) and managed to score in the 150s. I've been browsing through these blogs, and it seems like everyone's been on 7sage since April. I'm beginning to freak out. Is it too late to be studying for the October, wanting to own the LSAT?

Hey Peter,

This is the first time I've heard of this.

I'm thinking, though, what if you spend too much time on the hard questions and lose out on points that you'd earn on the easy questions?

I'm a bit skeptical, to be honest.

html5: network error

I keep getting this annoying "html: network error" when I'm in the middle of watching a lesson. It's always almost halfway, lol ><". I'm using chrome. Is this something wrong with the site or with my computer? Is anyone else getting these messages?

Getting a tad exasperated. Just when JY gets to the juicy parts...

@ - thank you for the reply and my apologies for the *extremely* late reply.

I took a huuuge break (too long, tbh) and I'm getting back into it. So far so good.

I think looking at my mistakes with fresh eyes helped. I think I was in a bit of a rut.

Thank you again for replying. I hope your LSAT studying/writing/applying is going well!

:)

I picked the same conclusion that everyone below did when I was analysing the stimulus, but I picked the correct answer choice. I narrowed it down between C and D and I reasoned that D summarised the entire argument, not just the conclusion, which made it the wrong answer choice.

Hmm. I think you're definitely right. Perhaps I'll purchase some newer tests when I get through the curriculum, provided I've got the time.

Thanks for the insight. :) good luck with the score. Hope you dominated!

Hello,

I've just realised that when I first wrote the LSAT (June 2012), I took PT52 to PT60 to "prepare." This was before I discovered 7sage and I used the "betting method" to check over my answers.

Do you think it will be a disadvantage, if I redo the tests? I have the Premium version of the course, so there are some test that I have never seen before, though there aren't a LOT of new ones... and I did them over a year ago. I have a good memory, but it's not that good, lol.

Thoughts?

Hello,

I have a bit of a dilemma.

Okay, I lied: a huge dilemma.

I was hoping to be ready for the October LSAT, but I am by no means prepared. I want to apply for the 2014 school year, so I have to have my application in by November. I would very much like to study in Toronto and not have to move away from home. I have a mediocre score on my file (155, I think) from last year. I'm only about a quarter of the way through the course. Would it be a disadvantage to apply and indicate that I'm writing my LSAT in December? I'm worried about being pushed to the bottom of the pile based on my score. My GPA is decent, I have an undergrad degree in forensic anthropology but I'm a bit terrified. I don't want to try and cram from here on in and waste money. And have another shitty score on my file. Or loose any possible chance I have of being accepted.

Any words of wisdom?

I did this differently, got it wrong but I see why.... But for a different reason than the one that JY mentioned. I just wanted to make sure this was a valid approach.

I did this: MB -> DP -> IM or /IM -> /DP -> /MB

Conclusion: SP -> /MB

To have the conclusion follow logically, SP can be /IM or /DP which would lead one to infer /MB. I picked option D, thinking that SP could be both and it can be inferred that /MB. I realize now that D suggests it can be One or the other - not both - which is not true. That leaves only D to be true.

Is that another way to think about this question?

@ - I looked into that as well! And you're right - Dec is the absolute last shot for Canadian law schools (I'm hoping not to move out of the province, tbh). I didn't even bother to entertain the idea of an October test. Comfort to know that someone else has been going through the same dilemmas :)

Hope your studying has been going well!
