I know A is better, but why is e wrong? It actually provides the support to "it is safer...". Maybe I have made too many assumptions?

got the answer correct. But I think B is also not very supportive since it states that the omission of fish from the list can create a false belief that it's less healthy than red meat. "Less healthy" doesn't imply "dangerous to health".

I got this question wrong because I tend to overthink! I chose C because I think that since the cost of equipment to heat homes with NG has fallen sharply, the homeowners who have switched to NG (invested in NG) would feel unnecessary to keep using the NG. Comparing that D is a much more straightforward answer.
