#feedback I'm doing this question as a drill and as a standalone video it's missing a lot. I was trying to get an explanation for q26 but it has all the answers eliminated without showing any of that work
no offense but the lateness example was such trash lol truly the worst way he could've possibly explained this. I'm paying to learn from my friends in the comments at this point
I chose B. The otter pelts were mentioned in that exemption because the courts specifically addressed why they weren't included. I feel like the explanation is assuming that "mentioned" means "included" but I chose B because these handicrafts were explicitly called out in this legislation. The explanation doesn't satisfy my confusion here.
I feel like this lesson has been really contradictory. There are so many example topics about childhood events or shaping events that clearly happened long ago (and this is also explicitly recommended), then it says to not write about the distant past.
There's a whole section about making your language more descriptive and rich (/flowery imo), and then immediately after it says it has to be clear, concise and simple in language. None of the examples from the last section are concise in my opinion.
It talks about the difference between obstacles and disappointments and explicitly says failing a math test is an example of something you shouldn't write about because it's a disappointment, rather than an obstacle. Then it provides an example of a "good" essay about failing a cooking test.
I understand that it's a balancing act, but I honestly came away from this section feeling less informed than before on what makes a good personal statement. Also a big disappointment that most of the example essays linked are behind a pay wall.
Some of these (just copy and pasted from the last page) don't match their headline
#feedback this explanation does not do enough to show why it's not C, we're all confused in the comments
