Hi! I'm in the same boat as you!! I will be applying binding to Vanderbilt when I get my September score back, but I'm nervous about how the games went as well. I'm taking the October test in hopes that will show improvement.

Personally, I've been warned that writing an addenda about your score can sound like you're making excuses. I don't think that's a blanket statement, but I'd just be sure to watch your tone in it. If I don't like my score I plan on notifying an admissions counselor that I will be taking it again and will keep her updated.

Best of luck to you, hopefully I'll see you in Nashville!

Hi! I'm facing this situation for the October test, will you be offering the same extension? I would appreciate it!

I agree with @, it'd be best to answer "no", even though after hearing your story I'd still consider you first-gen, to avoid looking like you're trying to stretch the truth. I think mentioning it in your personal statement, like how your dad's passion for education has inspired you, will shed enough light on the topic. Many apps I've come across also have a question asking if you are the first-gen to go to law school, to which you can answer a firm "yes". Best of luck!

Hi all!! Where do you check your LSAC transcript review? I can't seem to find it on the website.

I definitely overthought this one. I chose A but then changed it to D, mistakenly identifying being receptive as the conclusion instead of what the community organizers must do.

Hi @! From your BR scores, it sounds like you know your stuff! It sounds like you just need to focus on closing that gap between your raw and BR scores. I'm in the same boat. For me, I've found that forcing myself to go slow in timed tests has been helping the most. When I started doing this I wouldn't finish sections and have to guess for a bunch of them, but this number has gone down as I've gotten better at my pacing. I'd rather know that I've gotten 20/25 questions right then be only kind of sure for 25/25 questions.

As for the general stress, same girl. This is not just testing your comprehension of logic, but your capability to perform under stress. I heard in an LSAT-related podcast that this is just like any other test, and it's beatable. They suggest being a little cocky going into the test and actively reminding yourself that you are smart and you can do it. This has helped a lot for me, hope it does for you too!
