I kind of see what the LSAT writers were trying to bait me into doing, but man this explanation is not good
The direct support of the correct AC was exactly what made me cross it off. I thought since she was acting on a hypothesis, I guess I just assumed that other scientists thought this way too. But thinking is not the same as knowing I guess...
I spent 3 min+ on this question to get it wrong during the PT, left it flagged for BR. As soon as I read the first couple of sentences, I knew exactly where I went wrong. Smh
I crossed out A because I thought it weakened the argument. I would think that many species adapted genetically through variations in DNA (mutations, breeding with another animals, etc.) I thought interbreeding would speed up the adaptation process, which would help the argument... so saying that they did NOT, weakened it.... Idk man
I have such a hard time with level 4 or 5 strengthen/weaken questions. Most of the time you can't really rely on what you are taught on the LSAT. The correct answers are so much more subjective and flawed. Literally my #1 weakness. FML
Passage B author wins yapper of the year
I get this one right with little resistance but get a 2-difficulty level question wrong while burning off time. Smh
Idgi, I crossed out all answer choices including C because of the use of "modern writer". Is C using "modern writer" to refer to Homer? They referred to him as ancient in the stim. I thought C was talking about a random aouther from our modern times to compare with ancient times
So the pawpaw lake content was only there to confuse pretty much
BRUH WHAT?! My dyslexic ass thought the last sentence of Zack's argument was "Encouraging others to become involved will do nothing BUT make them more outspoken.".
This made me think C was a trap answer, which made me pick E bc the contrapositive lined up with with Doris. I HAVE to start overthinking the first few questions because they're usually always so simple that it makes me overthink. SMH
I knew the flaw, but answer A was worded so weirdly that I didn't understand what it was trying to say, smh
Had a lot of difficulty on this one bc I had no idea what the hell was the conclusion
Throwing a curve ball for only #3, these LSAT writers really are bored and just trying to fuck with us. I gotta read more carefully though
Sucks but these are the type of questions that will guarantee me a miss
I was about to pick A, crossed the other ACs out, but then tried to map what A was saying. I got it backwards, thinking that "second type" referred to acquiring weapons. I though it was a trap answer choice and went with D even tho I didn't like it. Fml
I'm used to the really tricky BS questions at this point, but this... this is something else
When I first read the stimulus, I thought it was saying that the neuroscientists subjected the volunteers with amusia, as in they somehow gave this handicap to them.
Spent a good amount of time thinking to myself "now how tf did they do that"
Man these easy questions always break my brain. I overthink way too much
