Scored ~6points below my pt average. Very frustrated but can't say it's totally unexpected. RC is my weakest part and having it as the first section totally destroyed me.

Way lower than my average....where can I find the answer key?

Anyone feel this LG was so hard? I have been consistently getting -0 or -1 on LG for the past 20 PTs but I think for the LG today I might get -3 or even worse. With that being said, I do think the LRs were a bit easier than those in pt 85 and 86.

When I read the question stem I thought this is a faulty analogy that the auto maintenance wisdom should not be applied to hiring an economic advisor for some reason. I was so sure about my speculation that I didn't even think about the other way around.

Oops....

I actually got the correct answer on this question, but I am just wondering in what situation would answer choice C describe a flawed argument? For example, If everyone in this group is rich, then the whole group is rich, right? Am I interpreting this answer choice wrong? Sorry I know this is away from the main point of this question.

Maybe I am overthinking on this question, but I thought eating plenty of fruits and veggies might cover a narrow range of nutrients (like only vitamins, fiber, you name it.....not many of them contain fat or protein right?) So if what most fad diets prescribe are exactly fruits and veggies, they actually protect against various health problems (which is contrary to "fail to satisfy dietary needs" in ac D). Any thoughts on this??

I must be a weirdo cuz I actually found PT 72 to be okay for me lol. My lowest score after finishing CC was from PT 60 (I went 6 points lower than my average), but I also feel PT 84 (aka June 2018) had one of the hardest LR.

Should I withdraw?

Hello everyone on this forum. So to make this story short, the November test would be my fourth write if I decide to sit the test. My last score was okay (163) which should enable me to get into my safety schools. But I need at least a 166 for my dream school and my average from the last 5 test is ~3 points below that. I did hit 166 and above several times, but I just don't feel any certainties of getting the score I want, and I am kinda against the idea to try my luck on the test day (since I already took it 3 times...)

I thought about postponing it to January, but I just checked and all the test centres in my region are unavailable. So in the case of withdrawing, I am also pushing back applying to next cycle. Right now I am torn on whether to withdraw and with the Nov. test approaching, I realy want to make the decision asap and redesign my study plan if I need to. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

I am (re)taking lsat this Saturday and I am starting to worry if pt 84 and 85 indicate an increase in difficulty in lsat. It seems like people have a consensus that 84 has a tough RC, and 85 has a super tricky LR, but neither of them has a generous curve. Both of my scores from these two tests are ~5 points below my pt average. Or....maybe I am just overthinking and panicking about this coming exam?

Wondering if the limits will start fresh or include past takes?

I am panicked since I have already taken it 3 times...

I think this test has standard 101 questions. For me it was: RC 27 LR 26 (RC 27 experimental) LG 23 LR 25

I have a (weird) habit to circle the number of questions when I am super nervous lol.

I feel this is so much harder than practice tests but maybe that's due to my nervousness....

I had RC LR RC / LG LR

the first RC was brutal ! Personally I would give 5/5 for at least 3 of passages. Can't recall any key words but the first one is law-related.

The latter RC has Kafka.

I think there is also comparative passages about music and poems? But I don't remember if that's in 1st or 3rd section lol.

As for LR I think there are a lot of non-traditional questions.??

Guys see you in November?

Study tips for retakers?

I scored ~6 points below my PT average so I will retake in November for sure, but right now I have no idea how to get prepared.

I got 156 in Sept. (RC -12; LR-11/-9; LG -1), but I was consistently scoring between 161-163 for the last 10 timed PTs. My average performance for each section is at -6 for LR, -0.4 for LG and -10.9 for RC. With that being said, I am aiming for 166 in Nov...is it possible?

RC is always my weakest section, and I feel I actually made no improvements since cold diagnosis ;-(. Can anyone give me some recommendations for extra reading materials? Reading for scale helped me a little bit, but I am still having trouble with science passages cuz I usually got lost with those professional terminologies.

At this point I don't know if I still need to focus on LG as improving from -1 to -0 probably results in no score increases anyways? And I am considering redo CC for LR but this seems to be a huge amount of work...is it worth the effort to redo CC? Or is there any good supplements for LR?

Any inputs are appreciated!
