I'm copying and pasting my own comment to a very similar question in a different thread. In case you missed that, please consider this:

"I will be taking the test next Sunday, which is the official "September" date for the LSAT administered in Asia. It will also be undisclosed, just as the LSAT administered in the UK, as you mentioned. By nature of the test being undisclosed, NO ONE can possibly "factually confirm" whether the test will be different.

That being said, if one had to guess, yes, the content may be different; more important, however, the difficulty - not so much. As we all know, the LSAT is a "standardized" test; while I have not come across a hard, physical data that show that the average LSAT score in Asia (or in other parts of the world, for that matter) is different from that of the US, I would make a reasonable assumption that the LSAC has no reasons or incentives to administer significantly different tests across continents.

So I wouldn't worry about prepping for the "correct LSAT." Any rumors you hear about the differences in the test are just that - rumors. Theoretically, what you learn here on 7sage and on your own will be as applicable and valid in one part of the world as in another."

Now that I re-read it, I was probably wrong about "NO ONE" being able to factually confirm any discrepancies. But I still believe that theoretically, no difference in the test would have resulted in a dramatic influence on your performance that would have caused you to get a significantly different score had you sat on the test administered in another part of the world (I'm sorry this sentence reads like a stim in LR - I must be in the LSAT state of mind....).

Suggestions on navigating between Review videos

I don't know if anyone else feels the same way, but here's what I feel would make this presently perfect website even better.

For the videos for the prep test Review, I would like these two features added:

1) the "Next" button that we see on the lessons. For the LR section especially, since there are so many questions, it would be easier to navigate if there is the "Next" button right under the video instead of having to scroll down and manually look for the next question. I know it's really not crucial, but it's the small details that really bring about perfection.

2) the option to stay on full screen while the videos move from one to the next automatically (kinda like the playlist feature on Youtube). As for me, since I am a man of weak will, I easily get tempted to be distracted every time I exit from full screen and switch between videos. If I could stay full screen, I think it could help control my temptation.

Thank you 7Sage!

Is doing paralegal before law school advisable?

Hi all,

First of all, thank you for reading this post. My question is whether or not doing paralegal would provide any clues to determining whether the field is "right" for you + any advantages for applying to law schools.

1) After graduating from undergrad, I've met some people who have worked as paralegals and consequently stopped pursuing legal career altogether because they found that it was "not for them." Are what paralegals experience/see from law firms really representative of the day-to-day lives of lawyers? If so, as far as your personal experiences goes, how much worse (more stressful) do you think the lives of paralegals/lawyers are than those of others'?

2) I have another friend, who just recently got a job as a paralegal. He told me the pay was decent and he said some firms provide LSAT classes for paralegals in addition to other resources that may assist them in applying to law schools (don't know the details...). Can working at law firms really give your application a boost, all things being equal?

3) Simply put, is doing paralegal before law school worth the time (I heard it was usually two-year contract)?

Thank you in advance, and good luck in your studies.

Could you have technically linked /S to CTH (in other words, assuming that the computer software will not be successful unless the cost is NOT high), instead of /CPPB, and still reach the same conclusion? (my question doesn't have anything to do with picking C as the answer; I just want to see if my understanding on the structure of how these things connect is correct).

Before deciding to freak out because of this new policy, I wanted to share a few reasons to remain calm and positive about the change. Purely my own opinion, so feel free to criticize, correct, add or agree with me.

First of all, those of us who are enrolled in 7sage now and anytime before the licence expiration date ends have all the access to the PDFs until then, so there is not much for us to worry about; just download them all (wait, don't tell me you were going to let your subscription expire without having downloaded all the PDFs). If anything, I feel bad for the future students for the inconvinience caused by this change.

Secondly, the main reason I (and I suspect many other students) am enrolled in the 7sage course is not because of the PDF files they are offering, but for its lessons as well as the detailed explanations (in addition to a supportive community and the excellent free analytics tool).

While I do not know how 7sage's pricing model works, I suspect that 7sage's primary source of revenue was from selling PDFs (remember those $7 pdfs + explanations offers? those were basically freebees. sigh... those were the days...). Sure, 7sage will have to work on new pricing and stuff, but I am certain that it won't be the "end" of 7sage or other LSAT online courses out there. If anything, print/book-PTs might even encourage future students to more actively seek out additional resources, like 7sage. That leads me to my next point.

7sage is already so cheap and affordable compared to any other online resources (If you know a more affordable website with equal or better quality, please let me know. Sorry, 7sage). Without the price of PDFs included in the course bundles, 7sage will seem even more affordable to the future students, and more people might sign up as a result. (As a personal anecdote, when I first discovered 7sage, I was hesistant to sign up, only because I already had all the PTs. I'm glad I signed up anyhoo.)

Of course, some may make better and more valid arguments about how this might harm 7sage and other online prep services. But I have faith in 7sage, and I believe that it is the quality of the lessons/explanations and the lively forums that keeps us wanting to come back for more, not the sales of PDFs.

I do think this policy is unnecessary and, frankly, stupid. But the all-mighty LSAC has spoken. For now, let's all hope for the best.

Technically, can I say that D is implying a biconditional relationship, instead of a suf-nec confusion? Or perhaps, inappropriately implying a bicon relationship IS confusing suf-nec conditions?

Not really important, but was just wondering.

@3:47, can you safely generalize that most in NA questions, conditional statements are not the correct answers?

In case it helps anyone... I think I found the answer in Duke's instructions: "Candidates who apply through the Early Decision program may apply to other law schools, but may not have more than one binding Early Decision application pending simultaneously. If an Early Decision application has already been submitted to another law school, candidates may apply through Duke's Early Decision program only if and when they are released from their binding commitment at the other school."

couldn't help but notice the use of bicondi at the last sentence.. lol.

Applying ED to multiple schools??!

OKOK. I know we are not allow to apply multiple EDs...

But! Say I apply ED to School A right now and hear back within a couple weeks (whatever the likelihood of that happening) that I got rejected or moved to the regular pool. Does that mean it's okay for me to apply ED for school B in October (since the deadline for most EDs is mid-November)?

In the same line of thought, I had a similar question about ED Round II (due early Jan).

Since some schools have two Rounds of ED, does it mean I can apply ED for the second round for that school if my first ED for a different school had been rejected?

Thank you in advance,

Videos of 7Sage instructors writing PT

Hi all,

So a while back, I remember reading a post where a number of students were asking the instructors to share a real-time video of writing a PT. I think I remember someone mentioning that in one of the PT review videos (one of the 60s PTs, I think...), JY did post a video writing an LR section. Could anyone verify that please, and tell me exactly which PT that was?

Also, right around that time, I came across a video of Johnathan(?) writing an LR section (in 18 mins....) on Youtube. I have no idea how I found it, but I lost it since and I wanna rewatch it for purely entertainment purposes. If anyone has that link, could you please share?

FYI, I came across videos of JY writing an RC section for PT5 (too fast, too accurate).
