7sage vs Oxford Seminar

I have had access to 7sage for pretty much a year now. I am writing the LSAT in September and decided I would take the Oxford Seminar LSAT prep course to get a little extra prep in. I still have a session tomorrow and I can honestly say, without a doubt, that it is a useless course compared 7sage. Like honestly, 7sage is far more superior in every single way. Just like J.Y says, they use convoluted names for questions and logic games which end up confusing people. They even discouraged splitting game boards initially!!!! The worst part is that they had us write a Practice test and IMMEDIATELY corrected the answers without a blind review. I actually ended up walking out and going home to BR. If people are thinking of doing condensed seminar courses like the Oxford Seminar, spend that money on upgrading your extension or version of 7sage. Seriously 7sage you the best LSAT prep out there. I may be a scum bag for doing this, but I suggested to all the other students that they purchase 7sage instead of continuing in the course.

Goodluck with your studies everyone and keep on grinding !!!

Just send a follow up. I sent an email to a professor a week ago requesting him as a reference. He didn't reply within the week, so I sent up a follow up yesterday. Turns out he was on vacation and responded yesterday. Don't worry about annoying them. They probably didn't see the email. You can always go to their office or even call.

Goodluck!

Hi. Same thing happened to me. I called LSAC. They told me that it is ultimately up to the proctor but it is more important that the proctor can identify you. Shouldn't be a problem as long as it's a decent size.

Love the post!!! I am actually really eager to write the LSAT. I am pretty much over studying for it at this point :p. I am scoring consistently around my target score. Wrote my last new PT last Saturday and will be re-writing the test I scored highest on this Saturday. This week I am doing a dress rehearsal week for the LSAT (Monday-Thursday wake up 6am, workout, eat, shower, 1LR section, 2 logic games, 2 RC Passages, enjoy life. Friday wake up 6am, workout, eat shower, 10 LR questions, 1 logic game, 1 RC passage and enjoy life. Saturday wake up at 6am, eat, get to test centre for 8, pee, pretend to sign in, start test at 8:50, PT, go home and pretend to drink all the beer I can muster.)

I have done everything in my power to prepare, and I am as ready I will ever be for the September LSAT. The worst thing that can happen is that I get a 3-4 week break from studying for the December LSAT.

Keep on grinding everyone and stay positive because we got this!!

If John Snow kills Ramsey Bolton, the Starks will rule Winterfell!

JKR--->SW!

If Reek drinks beer, he will be Theon Greyjoy!

RDB--->TG!

This thread has made my day XD !

I am writing in September. I have been studying at least 4 hours day from March-May, and 5-8 hours a day since May with usually 1 day off depending how I feel that week. Up until last week I wasn't taking a day off for the previous 4 weeks. Last Saturday I scored 10 points under my average for a PT and decided to take the week off, only doing 4 random Logic Games timed and one of each LR question type a day timed, with no more than 90 minutes of studying. I took the day off completely yesterday without looking at any LSAT material or even logging on to 7sage to read the forum. Went to the movies with some friends (Suicide Squad. Which actually isn't as bad as critics made it out to be). Woke up this morning took a PT and tied my highest score. Even as I was writing today I felt better than I ever had before during a PT and I can honesty say I was burnt out by studying way too much without a break. I would advise you take a day or two off, go see friends, forget about the LSAT for a bit and get back at it. If you are really anxious about taking time off, then cut the amount of hours you study a day for a week :)

Good luck and feel better!!!

Could answer choice C be correct if this were a MBT question?

I am hoping it is the last one I did on the September 2016 LSAT because it will be the last LSAT question I will ever have to do :)

When to stop scoring PT

I am taking the LSAT on September 24 and am currently hitting a little higher than my desired score. I have been taking 2 tests a week (Wednesday and Saturday). I plan on keeping to this routine until Saturday September 17, which will be the last PT I take. I am curious if, and when, it is a good time to stop scoring PTs before test day?

Are you sure?
