Wow! I did not expect to get so many responses. Thank you all for the great advice. I realized after reading through the responses that I sort of did take an unintentional break this past month. I cut down my hours drastically. Moving forward I am going to take breaks when my body tells me that I need to.

If anyone wants a study buddy, or an accountability partner let me know :)

Help With Motivation :(

I have been studying for the LSAT since the beginning of January. For all of Jan/Feb I stuck with my study schedule. I would wake up before work and study for 2-3 hours, and then spend my weekends studying also. During that time I was actually really enjoying the core content and working my way through that. Then March hit, and it was like my motivation switch was turned off. I started really struggling to get out of bed early enough to study before work, and even on the weekends I could not get myself to study for more than an hour or two.

I think I may have burnt myself out with all of the Jan/Feb studying. Also, I think the logic games section I found much more difficult, hence leading to my decrease in motivation.

If anyone has any advice or tips on what you use to stay motivated, or to get out of bed early haha, that would be super appreciated. In February I also started exercising more regularly which I think has helped mentally. Looking forward to seeing everyone's tips and tricks :) Thanks in advance.

Order of Syllabus

Hello! I am currently working my way through the LG section of the syllabus. I have taken a bit longer to complete this section than my study schedule has suggested, as this is currently my weakest area. I am currently working full time. So typically I spend anywhere from 1-3 hours studying on the weekdays before work, and up to 8 hours on Saturday/Sunday. What I am wondering is if it is a good idea to go back and forth between the LG and RC sections.

I am running in to difficulty studying the LG sections during weekdays, I find I sometimes have to stop midway through a game in order to leave for work. I usually end up restarting the game the next day, which is pretty time consuming. I was thinking of completing the RC sections on weekdays, and going to LG on the weekends?

What do you think? Thanks in advance for the #help :)

Hi David. I have registered for the webinar. Unfortunately the webinar occurs during my work hours. Is there an option to view a recording of the webinar at a later date? Thank you

Congrats!! Keep at it! Where did you see the biggest improvement?

Logic games by far! I had no idea how to tackle them at first. My reading comprehension also improved by using the tips in the core content. Logical reasoning so far has remained about the same.

143 to 158!

Just wanted to share my excitement. Finally completed the core content, and did my first complete timed practice test since doing a blind analytic back in January. In January 2019 I scored a 143, and just now I scored a 158 :) I know it is just one test, but I could genuinely feel the improvements I have made while writing. I have got a long way to go, but this is a good step. Am aiming for a 170, which might be a bit unrealistic with only 6 weeks left before I write the June LSAT. Going to stay positive and keep working hard.

@ WOW! Thank you so much for all of the advice. I have completed the LR section, and am feeling really good about how it went. I am going to take your suggestions and try them out moving forward. I will let you know how it goes  I am almost done the LG section of the CC. Am planning on writing in June, and I know it is going to be a lot of hard work up until then. Best of luck to you in all of your studies.
