Looking back at my journey in studying for this pet peeve called the LSAT, I feel as though the prep course I took gypped me of my money (actually, my mom's money because she wanted to help me pay for the course)! I want a refund (too late now, of course)! Wow, I've purchased one too many LSAT study guides that have taught me completely nothing (except for the LSAT Trainer). All I have to say is, 7Sage you're a godsend! I am only on my third week of the course, but I can definitely say I feel more confident in being able to conquer the LSAT because of 7Sage. Thanks for reading! Back to the grind!

Go for the latter, which is what you truly desire and that is a higher score. Always follow your heart/passion. Sorry if it sounds flowery, but it's truth! Really, do what you WANT!
By the way, I am a ma'am not a sir. @mpits001889
Darn skippy!
Good for you that you happen to find an $80,000 per year job. Best of luck to you! But don't call us insane or tell us we need our heads checked when you were at one point pursuing exactly what we are all currently doing here.
I'm not quite sure how that makes me feel....yikes! I know I'm not very reassured at the thought. Lol. I've been interested in possibly moving to Canada in the future for some time....I think I would seriously move if Trump became president (scary!). @nye887085
My last two previous employers were legal aids and that is where my interests come from for health law and government benefits as well as having to personally deal with a medical condition of my own. I love helping others who are in need and cannot afford legal services elsewhere whether it be answering a question or filling out paperwork. Yes, cue in sappy moment. LOL. With bankruptcy law, my interest came about because of having to actually file for BK myself. Yup, unfortunately. Transactional law has always sounded interesting and I definitely would love to learn about it and dabble in it.
I'll be staying local. Unfortunately, I'll admit it, my GPA isn't anything to toot about. So, I have to work even much harder at obtaining the best LSAT score in my situation. The schools that I have been eyeing are Chapman, Whittier and La Verne. I'd say with my GPA and the median LSAT and GPAs for the schools I am interested in, I would love to get a 160 and above for a shot at scholarships.
I am leaning towards health advocacy and or government benefits. I also have an interest in bankruptcy and transactional law.
LOL! @thuythanhtran188 ! Awesome clip! Definitely bittersweet.
Cool! Thank you @2543.hopkins !
Well, I guess the other ones were PT and LG, but I understand those to be practice test and logical games. I guess I've covered most of them that are often used/referred to?
Hi everyone!
I was wondering if there was a reference list, etc. with regard to understanding the meanings of the abbreviations that are used in the discussion forums. I understand the basics such as LR (logical reasoning), RC (reading comp), and I am guessing BR means blind review. I know there are a few others I've seen (can't recall at the moment) wherein I had to think about it for awhile to figure out the meaning but nothing came to mind. LOL! Anyway, thanks for the help!
Lol @974 . Moving to Waco, TX...not my first choice nor is leaving CA in my plans, but it is a good choice for some.
Thank you for your input @mes08820! Thanks @jimenezjajj333.jj! Thank you @974 for the info! Thank you @thuythanhtran188! And no worries @orourkemikej840 we are here to learn from one another!
Thank you @mes08820! I appreciate your comment!
Do all law schools differ as to which LSAT is accepted for fall admission? Is it primarily the December LSAT that is accepted for all fall applicants/applications?
If I do not receive the best score possible or the score I was looking forward to receiving after taking the December LSAT, I was thinking of re-taking it in February of next year hoping to apply for fall of the same year. Is that too presumptuous of me? LOL. Most likely it is.
No doubt about what you wrote. Thank you. Reality checked!
I am 32 (I don't feel that old anymore after @rmdo254 shared his/her age). I have two boys, ages 4 and 5 months and they definitely without a doubt keep me busy! But they are my motivation in conquering this terrible test called the LSAT. I am seriously excited to start studying for the LSAT "again"...LOL! I just purchased the starter pack today! I took the LSAT five years ago and totally bombed it. For the life of me, I didn't understand and still don't understand why I didn't cancel my score. Anyway, I have been studying for the LSAT here and there but I haven't been very consistent. I bought the LSAT trainer which has helped clarify many things that I didn't understand before. I am actually hoping that I can and am able to solely rely on the starter course here since I fair well with online style of teaching/classes. I am looking forward to re-taking the LSAT in December or possibly February of next year. I guess it will all depend on how truly prepared I am for December. Good luck and much success to everyone here!
Any of them. For myself anyway. LOL. But seriously, it all depends on YOU. I really don't think that there is any shame if you attend a low ranked law school. Personally, after you graduate from wherever, you, yourself will be doing the hard work of creating a name for yourself, a reputation, and establishing/building rapport, etc. Sure, how the school is ranked or it's name has somewhat of an edge, but really, I believe it's the person who in the end will have to do all the walking and talking (no doubt). And to be accepted to any ABA approved law school is an achievement, in my opinion. Oh, and just for your f.y.i, and because I reside in California, I plan on applying to Whittier, La Verne and Western.
