I understand why the correct answer is correct. I'm not understanding why D is wrong. D states that harmful chemicals in irradiated foods is less than what's naturally occurring. Fine. Just because it's less than what naturally occurs doesn't mean it's not bad. It's still bad. The stim doesn't explicitly state that the minute naturally occurring forms aren't bad. Can't we assume that cumulative effects of something small, that's not good, will make it worse, even if it's just by a small amount, will thereby not weaken the argument? Sorry for the word salad at the end.
