it really depends on where you are missing questions at but my advice is to really try to time down your first few questions even if you just work on the first six completing by a certain time, it will one boost your confidence and two give you more time nearing the end but really more details is needed. Also for me so often the mental stuff is thing like i need to feel somewhat grateful to be doing the exam otherwise im mentally dragging my feet which slows me down
i got everything in my section correct except this question and number 11 what does that say about me
this is always the kind of question i miss because i dont like the answer choice and how its written so i dont brave to figure it out
@SydneyBarnes fr at this year i was like wait i could have just used that smh
ok you know what after actually taking a second to use my imagination for C it makes sense-- if they said 'the specific outrageous acts' such as 'stealing fire from the gods and giving it to humans' its wild that it happens once but eerily strange that it happens twice. i would have liked if C had used the word extremely or uncannily to demonstrate that degree of similarity.
Also in the stim i read it like the histories were 'likely written by enemies' rather than 'were' if i had kept that in mind I would have looked to find a reason why we can't trust the writings of his enemy after all if he really was a tyrant the writings of his enemies would likley have been extremely accurate as they wanted to fully document his reign so ok fine C
At first i though C was a leap but C is the only one that addresses the Ad hominem flaw them being enemies doesn't inherently mean they would fabricate it so C gives evidence they did
If you just want to get to low 150s then don't attempt each question focus on getting the first 18 (it could be a slightly higher or lower number i can't remember off my head) correct. However in general you are too early in your journey to be worrying about speed imo
ahh where were you all summer?? i am leaving sunday but if you want a virtual study partner hmu
This was deceptively easy but i need to remember that sometimes MC questions are kinda friendly
@lzagrodnik yeah i feel like im just going to have to revisit later and hope in my subconscious im digesting this
@CTU2B haha exactttllly. Mm i go back sommetimes.. but in my journal its online and in the notes section i give a general "tip to myself" and thats what i review rather than the full weight of it like 'read stim more carefully' or 'dont let simplicity outsmart you.' I also of course track trends but besides that yeah I think its mostly for vocalizing and tracking my pattern of wrong answers and bad strategies.
I go about it after i do a section and a blind review, if i still get a question wrong twice in a row i add it to the journal because those are the questions that i am missing something fundamental and where i want to see the pattern of what continues to be wrong i don't do it after a drill unless its mixed question types. i think thinking of it as an actual journal is so important like rant to it call yourself out, think about your relationship to your own intuition etc. At least for me, it has helped in building confidence and in baking in new strategies
i had it right the first time but the Blind review automation made me doubt my answer i need to put me first and not do blind reviews unless i get the answer flat out wrong and know that first :,
this section has had me going for several mental health walks and needing several mental health cigs
yikes this is the one section i dont think i grasped at all-- i didn't find it as helpful as the other sections
@ttagada o m g it did!! it just took time and now these are not so bad
