Hey all!

I'm excited to join this BR group and get back on the grind for a 180.

Any idea as to when we will have a schedule set in stone? Also..

How exactly does the BR group work, does everyone do the test untimed after a timed test and then get on the call? Some insight on this would be great!

@ OK, so just to clarify, we just pick and choose which dates/PT's to jump onto? Is there any recommendation as to how many a week we should get on for Sept?

@ Gotcha, is there any way to have a small note so that we know which ones are specifically scheduled for Sept.

@ @ I noticed that there are some same PT's for different dates. If we want to join the group for the Sept. test, how do we know which BR dates to join in on.

Ditch the music, don't let your body get used to something that won't be available come time to perform. Maybe listen to music and read/study something other than the lsat so you will not feel music withdrawal.

I wore sweats and my most comfortable shoes(Nike Roshe). I also brought a jacket but took it off and put it on a table besides me before the test started. Better to dress warmer since you can take off a layer or 2 rather than wear something that you may be cold in due to the AC.

You need to keep drilling games and pointing out your weaknesses like the missed connection you mentioned. After you have highlighted mistakes and weaknesses work on not making them again. Watching JY do games and the LG bible are great resources. Some people swear by LG bible and maybe you should stick to the technique 100% as it may make you faster.

@ I think that's doing too much.

Agreed. OP, quality over quantity. Especially since your averaging 163-167, you need to put emphasis on your individual weaknesses and improve those weaknesses by analyzing the PT's you do A-Z and Z-A.

It sounds like you have an adequate understanding if you can answer all the questions correctly with 10 extra minutes. You probably need more practice by drilling logic games. In my experience, once I grasped logic games and could answer games with 100% accuracy with unlimited time, I got faster as I drilled more and more games. The least likely explanation is that you are using method(s) to solve logic games that take too much time than it should.

So my question to you is how did you learn logic games?

My diagnostic score was in 137. My past 5 PT's were in the high 160's and low 170's range. Every person has a different set of skills starting to study for this test, but it is the consensus that LG is the easiest to learn. For me, LG was the worse from the 3 sections but once I learned the techniques I usually aced the games section. Some people may take 2 months to reach there target while some other people take 2 years, but I believe that if you put in enough effort and have the right tools, you will succeed.

You're off to a good start being involved in a community that is very helpful and prep that is very adequate for conquering the LSAT.

I had RC LR LG LR LG

RC was way easier for me and it is the section I do the worst in.

LR's were expected. Few difficult questions that I had to come back to.

LG was different(harder) than most PT's but doable.

If you do decide to add a "why x law school" bit:

1. Sew it into your personal statement without swaying away from the prompt, or

2. Add it to your application as an addendum. Many law schools include a section which accepts any type of attachments one may want to add.

3. Submit your application and after the school has received it, email them your "why x law school" and request it be attached to your application.

Make sure you do your research on specialization(s) and/or programs the school may offer and show interest in such programs/specialization(s).

It is a common misconception that the more practice tests you take the better you will do on the lsat. I would focus more on mastering the technique for all the question types rather than doing a bulk of practice tests. Also, burnout is a serious issue in many test takers and binding yourself to a hectic personal PT schedule might be counterproductive.

I don't know which PT's you have done but if you want to do as much PT's as possible I would do PT 50 - 81 (considering you're taking June 2017).

Pending LSAT not pending anymore...

Hi everyone,

I hope those of you who sat the Dec. LSAT killed it!!

I had applied to schools well before my Dec. Lsat with just a September score and had notified schools that I will be retaking in Dec. Now that my Dec. score is in and my LSAT score isn't pending anymore i'm wondering if I should nudge the admissions office to make my application complete. How fast or slow are they in updating files...does anyone have experience with this? My 2 options are to either ignore it and let them do their thing or notify them about my Dec LSAT and let them know that I don't intend to retake in February. Let me know what you guys think!

Thank you.
