Can someone talk about how to use this strategy? Thx.
When you get a dense passage, and a question asks about something specific (a specific term or part of the passage), just ctrl-f that ish.. sometimes with anxiety your mental image of the passage becomes distorted, and you forget where details are located.
I think you're good.
Power Score Podcast said that it's been confirmed you can use ctrl+f, but I asked the proctor today and she said it's not allowed. So, I'm not sure...
How are you interpreting the biological species concept as birds that interbreed? The passage clearly states that the birds do not interbreed.
Don't be too hard on yourself! You're taking the test again because you know/feel like you can do better. I am in the same boat as you..
Ask yourself what area(s) are you struggling in or could use extra study time, so that on the next test you have a better chance of earning your goal score.
DO NOT, with the few weeks left before Jan, ignore your studies, and DO NOT downplay your weaknesses. If you are struggling with RC, or say a specific type of LR stems, then every day build a problem set from the question bank.
Also understand that you don't want to become rusty in say RC by focusing soley on LR. Everyday drill the areas you need to focus on, but also make sure you spend a little time in other areas. This will help keep you sharp.
After a few days of doing this, take a PT, and then spend a lot of time on BR. Write down on a piece of paper every question you had trouble with, and watch the explanation video after your BR. This ensures you don't skip over explanations simply because you got a question right on BR.
Do this every week, and try to aim for 1-2 days per week for a PT + BR.
It's been a while since you studied but you haven't lost your skills or understanding.
You know what to do, let's get it done!
OK but even if we know how many people selected 1984, how does that in any way help us evaluate if it had an influence on a great number of the newspaper's readers?
No matter how many people selected 1984, wouldn't it be relevant to know how many people read the magazine to fairly assess the argument? ......

Thanks, good luck to you!
I don't understand where "the only way" is coming from??
Where is it implied or stated?

Your comment is ridiculous all around. Go away.
The principle in question relies on causing harm to OTHERS.
AC E is wrong because Jamal lied to his friend, merely for personal / emotional reasons related to Jamal himself.
AC D is correct because the mother lied to her child to prevent psychological harm to her child. This lie conforms to the principle.
focus on the last few words: "....harm to others"
Interested in hearing what others have to say as well.
For me, I'm still going through the CC and I tend to take my time with the concepts and practice questions so I usually aim to study 5 hrs a day mon-fri. Usually when I exceed 5 hrs I start zoning out and I'm unable to comprehend harder concepts. I don't have a set schedule for breaks, but I do track my time studying with an app and when I step away from the computer I pause the app. It just helps to keep me accountable, and I also can see the total entries and time spent which is good for affirming positivity throughout my study journey.
I think you should study until you start to feel yourself zoning out or getting distracted and not fully engaged with the material. When your in the zone you can learn much more and actually retain it.
RC-LR-LG-LR
First passage was a comparative... gross.
When it sounds like trash, it most likely is. lol
But regardless if you consider the MP / sub conclusion in this argument, neither is offering an explanation to the premise in question.
AC A can also be disregarded because conclusions are the supported statement, and A says the conclusion is offered as an explanation.
woahh
This whole question is a contradiction. No need to review prior lessons
I have full-blown conversations with myself during LG and LR (yikes)
Please let me know if you do this again
x cannot unless y
Translated
x --> y
Don't think too much. Just write down both ideas in their "stock form".
In the above case I would write down we have X slashed unless Y
Unless= group 3 = negate sufficient
Remove the slash
However you choose to translate the conditional, write down the "stock" ideas, as I call them, which is just how the stimulus gives it to you, and remember to negate the idea that you won't be translating the conditional according to.
In the above case, I want to translate according to the unless idea, because I'm more familiar with group 3, so I just slash the "cannot idea" idea and apply the g3 translation between the 2 groups.
Hope that helps a bit.
Cheers
