Got this one right but was kind of a lucky guess between B and A. I can see now that B is incorrect because it talks about 'certain' small companies. You cant make an inference about most companies based off of certain companies, therefore A is correct.
idk how I missed this Q. Obviously you cannot extrapolate information from a bunch of geezers to the. general public. fuckkkkk
I can see why C is right, but I want to explain to myself why B is wrong. B is wrong because subjective judgemnets/the ability to make them doesnt matter. It's a question of accuracy. Therefore, C is the only thing that weakens
Man its so clear when J.Y. explains it. I can see the 'gap' very clearly now. Totally missed it before and chose B.
Chose B because.... tbh I don't really know why. can see now why B is wrong because it requires the concession that the causal relationship still exists, whereas A does not.
Hard question, but I could have at least eliminated A on the MAIN CAUSE factor. We have no idea what the main cause of malpractice lawsuits are. nor can we infer it from the stem
fuckin easy ass question but I missed it like a moron. A says nothing about the books being overdue. B. Does. FUCK
I eliminated C because I thought it required the assumption that these farmers sell other sheep products other than wool. On second look I see that it says ALL Australian sheep farmers, thereby negating the assumption and making it the correct AC
Misread the Stem. Lesson learned. Pay close attention to question stem
totally fumbled this one and picked D, and am honestly not even sure why. Firstly, its simply not the conclusion, and this is pretty easy to establish when you realize there is no support for it. Secondly, it requires the assumption that NO temporary solution will solve the problem presented, which is an inference you just can't make (also the argument does not make this inference)
I caught the flaw but still got it wrong...
I was looking for a parallel in logic and chose D because of the matching of the necessary condition. Would this have worked if it was a true 'parallel' question and not some weird hybrid? If this had appeared in a random drill set I would have chosen C, but the fact that I had the 'parallel' tag on pushed me to look for a logical match rather than a principle.
OK before J.Y. continues ( I paused ) ... I did catch the difference between a notably ethical action and high ethical standards.... what I had a hard time doing was bridging the gap between this difference and any of the AC's. I chose C because .... honestly I wasn't sure about any of them lol. I can see now that the link is that Notable Action - /High Ethical Standards when that 'notable action' is actually just the refraining of adhering to unethical standards. Therefore, no notable action is performed to meet high ethical standards, therefore argument falls apart.... I think... gonna watch the rest of the explanation now and probably be wrong
Got wrapped up in other peoples opinion and selected B. Can see after reviewing that D. is actually what would be the SA for the WRITERS argument, but not necessarily for that of other peoples opinion. type shit
large comets prevent intelligent life from emerging. Lack of large comets means this is more likely.
comets hitting earth kill intelligent life (or all life, whatever) but life has to have emerged for this to even be a scenario. Therefore, D, not B.
overlooked the word least, chose A, moved on.
FML... I remember specifically looking at D and thinking,,,,, ehhhh irrelevant and clicking to the next question haha
Got mixed up on the 'patterns' of UV light idea. Was stuck between D. and E. and ended up choosing D. for this reason. I assumed that the synthetic web did not reflect the same 'pattern' as the G. web. This assumption cost me da point huehuehuehuehue
type shit. D. Doesn't actually resolve the discrepancy or offer any additional support. D. actually shows that the reason the insects selected the G. net must have something to do with a feature other than UV light reflection which would actually weaken the argument. E. is the only one that offers support to the idea of UV. light reflection being the thing that attracts the insects, and not something else.
Sign up for June. A month and a half is enough to increase those 5ish points that you need, and theres no harm in taking it again if you need to. I had the same issue with April Vs. June. Ended up taking the April cycle and feel good about it, plenty of time to retake in June (or in your case August) if necessary. Good luck!
Chose B because I assumed that Copernicus' thinking Ptolemy's theory being false equated to it being more likely to be false.
I can see that D evades the assumption of 'falsity' and uses the opposite of superior (inferior). Sticks to the language more
made the classic error ... test on the 11th. pray for me....
I can see now that you cannot make any inference about when things SHOULD be implemented. A. has a some statement. Therefore B is the only viable answer. Thanks for the great explanation J.Y. and inevitably see you again when I bomb the April test :)
I picked C but tbh what da fuckkkkkk...... How is assuming that students change majors (the assumption required for C) different than assuming people don't complete the agree (E) based on disinterest? Both AC's require pretty big assumptions (1) students switch programs when they are unsure) and (2). students drop out/change when something is not intellectually appealing. Come on LSAC, give me a break!
I need to be more critical. This section was pretty solid but this was realistically a pretty lighttt question and I missed it
Picked A. If I'd thought about it for a second I probably wouldn't have, but alas, I was rushing. We don't know if either of these things are the most inexpensive way of increasing employment. All the other AC's are pretty dogshit which leaves D.
D, although it is the BEST ac still requires the assumption that the consideration of implementing tourism means that this act would be reasonable. I didn't pick it based on this assumption (and hate it when they make us do this in the test) but I can see now that even with this assumption it is a better choice than A. I guess they can do this since its a MSS question.
so jazz consists largely of horny voices?
got the main conclusion wrong here oopthies
