Does ' on the condition' equals 'only if'?
P: G (grant) → D (detrimental)
C: L (laudable) →G
The missing link is L →D
I struggled between A & C and chose C in the end. Can you help to explain the difference between an EXAMPLE and an ANALOGY? THX!
Thank you for your explanation(s)!
Why cannot be inferred from A→O and O→A to A↔O?
What's more, what the stimulus said was unconcern-->damage, which is equivalent to /damage-->concern. B is saying /dmg (some) concern. If we negate B, we get /dmg--> unconcern, or concern -->damage, then the argument in the stimulus falls apart.
Did I do it right?
I understand that B is the answer to MOST closely parallel. But B missed the flaw contained in the stimulus. Am I right?
JY's explanation of C is just what I thought when I chose it. Hah-Hah : )
What if LSAC put E like this '......that mental phenomena are manifestations only of physical phenomena.'?
Is it right to translate B into: If lie to 2, then both OAP or neither OAP? I got confused by the later half following "then".
E is wrong for the 2nd reason that the Dean is talking about the Statistics course instead of math.
