Help! I don't know where to begin. I narrowed it down to A and C.

    The stimulus says:
Before reaching threshold, serum level increases proportionally with consumptions of fat and cholesterol consumptions.
After reaching threshold, serum level increases gradually even with large increase of fat and cholesterol consumptions.

Condition: the threshold is 1/4 of american average diet.
C is the correct answer choice because if even if you cut your diet intake by 1/2, you are still above threshold, meaning your serum level will not decrease proportionally since you haven't reached the 1/4 level.
A is incorrect because the question doesn't mention anything about how to lower/increase threshold. This is a inference question. Plus, the two variables we are discussing here is serum level and consumptions of fat and cholesterol. The threshold allows for two separate scenarios, before and after.

    I hope this helps.

yes it does. Should I treat this question as SA question or like you said an inference? MSS questions scare me.
