Just upgraded to ultimate plus.

Hey guys,

I just upgraded to 7sage ultimate+.

It unlocked a bunch of questions for the LR and I just began doing logic games more specifically I’m on sequencing games with a twist.

At what point should I be doing timed sections and how should I review LR while I move on to logic games and reading comp?

Thanks.

I wouldn't do any practice test sections until you're done with the core curriculum. You don't want to burn through the PTs because you will want them to practice with later. There are some LR drills built into the curriculum, too. Keep in mind that everything in the CC is in order for a reason, in including the LR drill pack and PTs. Personally, I started timing the CC problem sets once I started feeling comfortable with the question type. However, I used a stopwatch instead of a timer, just so I could track my natural pace and see my pace improve.

As for reviewing past sections, I really think it depends on when you are testing. I have a pretty short amount of time to study due to a (clearly unexpected) concussion, so I didn't really have time to come back to LR until after I was totally done with LG. Even then, I only spent maybe 3 days reviewing it. Our brains actually retain information that we know well for a long time. The better you know something, the more likely it will be stored in your longterm memory. I'm sure you've heard a song for the first time in five years and remembered half of the lyrics.

Keep in mind that the CC uses old PT questions-- some of which vary in significant ways when compared to the newer PTs. Personally, I think that the newer tests are much harder than the older ones. My diagnostic RC was -4 and then my first PT (60) was -12 so... I think that proves my point lol. Even after 3 weeks of studying RC for hours a day, I'm still at -5. I say that just so that you're not as shocked as I was if you do better on the problem sets than you do on the PTs. Consistent practice really makes all the difference in the world. I'm glad you have access to all of the resources in Ultimate+! Good luck with everything!
