Dear all,
I am waitlisted at some of my top choices, and I am a few points below their 25th percentile LSAT. I am wondering how even a point or 2 improvement on the March test (for which I am already registered) might affect my waitlist status. I also plan to write letters of continuing interest.

Obviously it will help. But if you can get to their medians that would be big.
I'm also waitlisted for my two choices. I did speak with the admissions people and both of them said improving my score would be "helpful". Anything that I can do to improve is worth taking a shot.
Like the others have said, and improvement is likely to help. If one or two points still puts you below the 25th, it might not make a big difference, but like @CantStopWontStop said, getting to the median would be huge.
