I am learning about negation but when it comes to the quiz its confusing because the only terms I learned through CC was "some" and "all" to learn how to negate. How do you negate terms besides these such as "if...then" situations?

I'm really not sure what you're asking. Are you asking how to negate an if-then relationship, as in taking the contrapositive?
The negation of a conditional statement is essentially saying "no" to the relationship. So if the conditional relationship is something like:
If something is a dolphin then it is a mammal
the negation of that statement is:
There exists something that is a dolphin and not a mammal.
Why is this the negation? Because if there was truly a conditional statement (which is a relationship between two statements) then we wouldn't have the sufficient condition and the absence of the necessary condition. If there was truly a conditional relationship any time we had the absence of the necessary condition we would have the absence of the sufficient condition (the contrapositive.)
