Is there any particular reason the 7sage goes over LR, LG, then RC in that order? If I wanted to start with LG and then move to LR and RC would that be detrimental to my studies?

Go through the core curriculum before taking practice tests. I recommend studying a bit each day LG, LR, and RC. A few LR questions, 1-2 games, and 1-2 RC passages.
Yeah, there’s a lot of foundational stuff in LR. It’s structured very deliberately, so best to follow the curriculum.
