How to find MP on RC?

Hello, in the RC section I struggle a lot with finding the main point of the passage. Does anyone have any strategy for how to quickly figure out the main point of a RC passage?

The MP is often found at the end of the first paragraph, but this isn't always the case. I personally think the most efficient way of finding the MP is viewing the entire passage as an LR stimulus. What is the author trying to prove? Why are they writing this passage in the first place? If you focus on the broader structure of the passage, it will generally give you a feel for which way the support is flowing. Like a MP/MC question in LR, the support will flow to the conclusion (if there is one explicitly stated). Hope that's somewhat helpful.
