General tips for LR questions

I do very well on LR questions but always trip up in one of the following situations:

1. I have misread the question stem, e.g. confuse MSS with "which one does not support", ignore the subject of the stem, etc.
2. I smother over lists, e.g. if it reads "well-read, intelligent, and thoughtful" I smother to "good stuff" instead of treating each trait independently
3. I do not act on the gut feeling that there is something wrong or that I misunderstood the stimulus; a good strategy would be to re-read and check for the issues above
