score release date/oct registration date

hi! im a bit confused about the timeline of the aug lsat release date and the oct registration deadline. it seems as though the august score will not be released until sept 10 but the last day to register for the october lsat is august 25th. further, you dont get a refund for the registration past sept 5, am i missing something? if anyone has more info that'd be great

That’s correct. If you want a shot at the Oct test you’ll have to commit before knowing your August score.
