Lawgic on my Mind

edited January 2022 in General 26 karma

Does anyone else like genuinely think differently after all these months of studying for the LSAT, like I cannot listen to people talk sometimes without evaluating their speech and criticizing their use of logic silently in my head LMAO the lawgic lessons are just always in my brain now

My Contracts professor asked us if the use of “if” versus “only if” made a difference in the terms of a contract.

    Answer: “probably not.”

He was a federal judge for a decade and authored both my Contracts textbook and supplement. And I’m not suggesting he is wrong. I’m saying people use logic so poorly that the law can sometimes take that into account.

So I guess my point is to get used to it, lol.
