How can I do better on the Most Strongly Supported Questions?

I read the lesson on this topic and follow the steps to choose the best answer. But every time I think I’m doing well, I do the practice questions and end up doing poorly which discourages me even more.

The lesson below helped me a lot. The key is to understanding that MSS questions are identical in structure to MBT questions, but with a "lower standard" in terms of the validity of the argument. While assumptions are allowed, the smaller the assumption the better.
