What Should I focus on in my addendum when I R and R?

I will be R and R’ing next cycle and need some advice on how to approach my addendum since my GPA is low and I have three low LSAT scores. If I score well on my next LSAT, do I need to explain my previous scores especially when I already need to explain my GPA?

Hi @tanisha.ghoshlsa. Former admissions officer here. Whenever there is a marked improvement in a candidate's LSAT performance, the admissions committee will be interested in seeing an explanation. Don't worry about having a GPA addendum and an LSAT addendum in your application materials. The purpose of the addendum is to answer any questions the admissions reader may have as they evaluate your materials. If an explanation of unusual or particular circumstances might provide a more accurate explanation of the information in your application, you should include it. Good luck!
