Based on what you want to do… SF Hastings would lead you to more opportunities for the type of work you want to do. The school has an incredible reputation. Forget about competitiveness for this decision, make your choice on what’s best for your future line of work.
You should be very proud that you got into Hastings. California.. is a beast to get to the finish line meaning it is the hardest Bar Exam so that is something to consider as well. If you make the investment in yourself by attending law school in the state of California it will give back to you. Washington will be good, but if you are planning to work in the state of California, choose Hastings. Where do you see yourself after law school is probably the best question to ask right now. Good luck! And congrats again!

UW law is incredibly stingy with their financial aid (their 509 report, me, and other UW Law accepted students can testify to this). If you want to do PI, you should go to a school that give you the most amount of money. I think UW Law has a stronger reputation, especially in PNW, but Hastings is a solid reputable school within SF.
