After filing a complaint, I was presented with an option to retest this weekend. I was wondering if the score release date is different for people who retest than those who took the original exam at the start of the month?

I'm almost positive LSAC stated that people retesting will have the same score release date. I saw it in a communication they released addressing the proctoring troubles. I can't remember the exact statement, though, so don't take what I'm saying as gospel!
I read that also. Someone mentioned that the LSAC Twitter account was a good source of information and I did start following that yesterday.
