How long after I take the Jan LSAT can I wait to take my writing section? Thanks!

You should be able to take it before. I would recommend not waiting long as they won't release your score until you have a writing sample on file. I waited over a month to do my sample. Nothing bad happened so in theory you could probably wait as long as you like but I would just get it done. It only takes 35 minutes and is much less stressful in my opinion.

I believe somewhere on LSAC it says up to a year. However, I took the test in 2020 and then paused my application process (I got an intensive job). I returned to it again in 2023. My link expired, but I contacted LSAC and they reset it for me.
