Thanks for the update on this, @Alex . Being a reverse splitter, I'm kinda bummed by this turn of events. LoL. I was hoping maybe GPA would begin to play a stronger role in admissions decisions.
Hopefully one of the next ThinkingLSATs will discuss.
@AudaciousRed I actually think both reverse splitters and regular splitters should be happy about this. Dropping the test req. wouldn't make the top law schools devalue the LSAT since USNEWS rankings will still be their main concern. The drop will just bring in a flood of applicants who took the GRE, GMAT, etc. with a decent portion of them having high GPAs which will dilute the pool of high GPA students.
