I am planning to attend the New York LSAC forum next weekend and while on the east coast I want to visit schools. How should I approach emailing schools regarding meeting representatives at the forum but also in the following week with a visit?
Also, should I contact other schools of interest letting them know I am attending the forum?
Thanks in advance for any insight on forums/school visits.

The NY Forum is always a zoo, particularly for the NY-based law schools. If you want to have any sort of substantive conversation with a representative, I would suggest getting there very early and being one of the first ones to approach the schools. In the middle of the day, the lines to speak to the reps can be 10-15 people deep. If you register to attend the Forum, the school can see who is attending by looking at LSAC's registration information. You should definitely email the school if you are doing a campus visit. See if you can get a tour, observe a class, and speak with an admissions counselor. Check the school's Visit Us page to see if you need to do something to get on their visitors schedule online. Good luck!
