If I change test date, what about score cancellation right?

Hello everyone. I was planning to take the LSAT tomorrow but I can not. I am a first time taker and paid score cancellation fee for this exam. If I change the test date to Jan, can I still use score cancellation right? I could not find sufficient information about it. Thank you!

I called them to confirm back in August and they said yes, you'd keep that ability
