  I would skip over the LG sections. 7sage's approach is the best and I feel like mixing two different approaches would be more confusing and time consuming.

  7sage for games is unbeatable and no other company comes close, and JY's LR and RC explanations are just awesome too.
  
  But LSAT Trainer is wonderful for argument questions on LR. I took me 5 months to realize that on all argument questions in LR you should do most of your work before you read the answer choices (see what the argument is doing by FINDING THE FLAW). If I had only listened to the Trainer at the beginning of my prep. Learn from my mistakes use LSAT Trainer as an LR strategy guide.

  What about reading comp - is there a preferred method that works? (either between LSAT trainer and 7sage, or any other method)

  I'm just a little halfway through the LSAT Trainer and can attest to it being excellent for LR sections. I'm not as far along in 7Sage's curriculum, but I don't think 7Sage and LT are exclusive in their strategies for LR and RC. I would try both out if you're really worried about those sections.   I was asking about the logic games because I know that both programs have different methods of diagramming, which is kind of problematic.

  I have to say that the LSAT trainer although an excellent resource I rarely find myself consulting it after I signed up for 7sage. It would be hard to say I benefitted from it or not. I can surely say I did benefit from 7sage. So my thought is it couldn't hurt.

  @lsathopeful I have used both of these resources thoroughly too. I think the Trainer does a really good job with the reading comprehension section. It was my worst section and i never saw myself ever improving in that section and i did, with the help of the LSAT trainer, so i would say that you should definitely read it very carefully and do everything you are told from it to a T.

  Thanks for bringing this up. I had the same question in mind while I was studying with both materials. I think it's also safe to skip the LG section on LSAT Trainer (unless you find Mike's way easier. Personally, I find 7sage LG way easier to understand). I just apply J.Y's techniques/diagramming to solve the questions in the book. And it works out perfectly fine.
  
  As for the RC, I haven't had much luck with it. But hopefully, I will catch on to it. With LG, I find it extremely helpful for the reasons mentioned above and much more.
