I was PTing at 165, but know that my question stem ID was weak, and I did not hit -0 in logic games. I actually did pretty poorly in the Logic Games on my LSAT which was September's exam.
Thanks. That's a really good point. In my email I will make clear that I'm really not looking for something else I honestly just would rather no one else has to take theirs on those desks.
I struggled with RC, but felt ok on LR and LG. Honestly though, I just have no fricking clue how I did. After months of instant gratification with the LSAT Analytics here on 7Sage's page this three weeks is going to be a monster.
For me its usually pretty obvious. I never split if I feel like there will be more than 3 boards to deal with. Too much going on on the page to make the time spent splitting worth it. I don't know if that is the right answer...its just what i do.
Crap. I'm glad everyone else is going through this too. I've had real trouble with my last three. I was averaging 167s, but on 69-72 I've been hitting 161-4. Really stressful.
Jonathan explained it like this to me...picture a pothole. You have to fill the pothole with your argument. For NA all you need to fill is a tiny little part of the pothole, but that part is necessary for the rest to be filled in. For SA you have th…
I didn't get the answers. But I did put my test results into the analytics. It doesn't tell you what the score is, but it does tell you the type and the correct answer so you can work your way backwards.
Haha. I'm with you too. Jazz, African American literature, Art and science are all subjects that I would never read on my own, but the RC sections actually kind of make you appreciate these complex topics.
I decided to buy the 10 Actual book and I really appreciated taking the newer tests. The logic games are pretty manageable, but the reading comp is a real bruiser. I would at least recommend getting PT 72. 7Sage offered it for $6.00 for a bit, but I…
The difference is in the title. Must be true questions rely heavily on formal logic and the answer choice must be true. MSS questions do not have to be true, but they must be strongly supported.
At least, that's my understanding of it.
Don't forget that if you manage time well you can have enough time for this type of question. For example, if you have a few quick ones, then the little bit of extra time you need for these types of questions isn't a big deal. Scan quickly, find it,…
You can just take the first in your book or, as a commenter suggested above, take the Jun 07 test offered for free here on 7Sage. That's what I would do. Are you testing in September? Make sure you use the test analytics to score your tests. Just cl…
The LSAT Trainer is great. Coupled with 7Sage's material you will be fine. I would highly recommend forgoing the Testmasters and just doing the 7sage lessons though. I haven't found reviews online that make a compelling argument that Kaplan or Test…
Click on Resources then LSAT Analytics then whichever test you are using. Fill in the answers just as you would on a bubble sheet and get ready to have a child named J.Y.
Jonathan,
I would love to see this too. Particularly a logic games section. I would prefer an over the shoulder camera shot to a on screen version of the test though.
I will for sure. I'm trying not to assume anything. I'm saving the last four for the last four weeks leading into the exam. I have taken a ton of PTs though and really struggled with the Logic Games from earlier tests. Maybe I've just finally drille…
Haha! That is right on the money. That game was all plug and chug. I've been testing fairly regularly in the low to mid 160s and hit a 166 on this one. Hopefully I can continue to do well on these recent tests.
I appreciate the answers.
I've found that focusing on my breathing for 10 minutes before a test helps me focus. Also, be aware of your breathing while you test. The brain needs oxygen and lots of it!!
Haha. The other day I was reading comments on a news article and no joke someone wrote, "Everyone regrets voting for Obama because everyone I know that voted for him regrets their vote."
I literally had to force myself not to reply.
