  • If thats what she meant, i agree with her. Talking to others could lead you to lose your focus. Best thing to do is just keep your head down and do your thing. Last time I gave the exam i was unprepared and was looking for people to talk to. This ti…
  • This is just my opinion. I think the two week break helped you not to burn out. If you were scoring 174 before then scored 178, there is no definitive answer as the margins are so close in those ranges, think maybe 3 or 4 questions. That could b…
  • @runiggyrun You're definitely not alone in that department. I normally have been scoring 0 to -1 in my logic games for a while but in the 70s have come across a couple of games that have thrown me off. Definitely when you see it the second time you …
  • @schyler.cox Actual: 173. Br: 178. The reading comp was truly a pain, I'm gonna be harsh with myself and suggest that its more luck i got some of the Rc questions right. When I Br'd the RC section, the 3,4th passage still didn't seem that clear to m…
  • @schyler.cox I'm in the same boat as you. Just got done for 71 and thought it was more challenging than the others, especially the mirror passage. I still have to BR it so I'm curious to see what type of mistakes were made.
  • Feb will be acceptable but spots might be filled up and it can get tricky. If you can take it in December do it. I'm in the same boat as you and working towards giving the lsat in December so I'm competitive in the admission cycle. Good luck.
  • @c.janson35 Thank you for saying that. I had the same feeling in my head but its always good to hear someone else tell you that.

  • Just adding to this: How long ( amount of questions) should one drill a specific section for? Just wanted others thoughts on this. Cheers
  • Have you checked out the cambridge website? I think they have something like that for you.
  • agreed. the better the score, the better your chances. As @chelsea.bashi said, have your essays and all apps ready to go when you get your score
  • Im giving the December exam and currently doing one day on and one day off. I've done the course twice so now I'm just going throw PTs. After doing 10 total I'll focus on individual areas that need drilling then back to another 10 PTs.
  • Awesome. Thank you guys!
  • excited about these as I'm ready to get some new problem sets in me
  • Are the changes going to be ready for tomorrow?
  • Thanks alot guys. Appreciate the feedback
  • Hey guys, I plan on studying more and retaking as well. Ended up with a 164 as well and wanna hit the 170+ mark. I am gonna do the whole course again so i can go back to basics plus also you the Cambridge stuff i set aside to really finish this one …
  • First of all don't worry your not losing all the hard work you put in. This can happen at times for a number of reasons ( Need a small break, stress etc). I am scoring in the 160s as well and then boom i hit a 147. For me it was mainly just slight f…
  • Just another analogy to throw at you. When you first started typing on the keyboard, everyone one was slow and made errors. With practice and SLOWLY learning the pattern of the keyboard, many are able to type on a std keyboard without looking and wi…
  • I have the same issue. Just keep doing some drills from the older PTs and try to get to the answers in a faster way. You know one way to get to the right answer, trick is to find the fastest way to the right answer. Drills will help cause it will sh…
  • @Licknee10, I will definitely be doing a BR for everything at this point. It might take a longer time to get everything done but at least when I'm done i know i have solidified the concept
  • @joegotbored-1 excellent point. That's what I was just noticing. Familiarity with the questions should help with recognizing the main pattern for each difficulty level. Hope this works. Thanks for posting
  • Thanks guys. I just got the packets and gonna start drilling from easy to hardest. Going to be strict with timing in myself just to I can get faster. Any specific advice for drilling techniques?
  • Not yet. I have been leaning towards getting the Cambridge sets so i can work on drills. Maybe take 2-3 days off from doing PTs and do drills from Cambridge LR sets?
  • Im giving then exam in Feb. How would you recommend I incorporate it in the study schedule?
  • Awesome. I think that way I kinda keeps the mind moving at a nice pace and keeps all ithe information fresh in the mind, nice gradual pace.
  • Thanks everyone. That definitely makes sense. I just finished 2 now and can feel subconciously my BR time going down. Im gonna aim for 4 a week, giving my self 8-9 hours in a day to write the exam and then BR it thoroughly so I don't waste time.
