Hi everyone!
I wanted to start this as an emotional support thread. I am sure I'm not the only one anxious awaiting my score on September 10th! Let's throw out some positive energy! I hope everyone is focusing…
Your experience resonates well with mine! In the last few months, one of the most important lessons that I learned is to reframe my thinking to have a more positive mindset. I noticed that every time I do well, I used that as a benchmark for the nex…
Sounds like a decent ball park to begin with. But I would encourage you to NOT let that one number dictate your studying in general--for example, 20 PTs taken under timed conditions with thorough blind review is generally better than than cramming i…

@MissionLsat , @"Forever Addicted to Coffee" , @oychoi79 , @teechj117 , thank you for all the comments guys. A majority of you guys say that both practices (for LR and RC) have become "second nature"; may I ask what kind of ma…
I haven't taken it at a hotel but I have pretty strong reservations against the idea from my personal experience. If you must, I highly suggest that you get a good hotel that you absolutely trust.
A few weeks ago, my fiance and I were staying at a …
I do, in the sense that I have practiced the low-res in RC and identifying the argument structure in LR so much that it became second nature. When the clock is ticking on a timed take, you should be able to do these things automatically. That being …
Good question! In general, as I finish making the master game board and writing down the important rules, I "play" with the master game board to make inferences. During this process, my default mode is to try and spit out sub game boards. But if I b…

@"Forever Addicted to Coffee" Thank you for taking the time to give me all this feedback. Much appreciated.
Absolutely! If you want to chat about it further, don't hesitate to DM me to set up a phone call.
I'm impressed to hear about your dedication (5 hours / day x 5,6 days)! From my experience, unlike studying for other exams, my progress versus time has been very nonlinear.
I felt the same way in the beginning months of study. I'm putting in all t…
Ruminating. I think that's what you are doing. I used to do the same thing. Not just for the LSAT but for other things too. Constantly ruminating on the bad things that happened in life. Ruminating on arguments with friends/family. Ruminating on a b…

7Sage is a great resource. I would personally also recommend the PowerScore LR and RC Bibles. I would definitely start by self studying, but once you've reached a certain level, or if you simply feel like you learn …
Right, you were alluding to one of my recommendations. Skip that game as soon as you feel like it is taking too long. Sometimes, really difficult games are sprinkled in with easy games to throw us off. But if you do the games based on your own seque…
It could indicate the someone or something's view point, including the author. But not NECESSARILY the author's own opinion. Sometimes, it can be used in a matter-of-fact way without alluding to an opinion. It depends on the context of the passage.
Personally for me - I've noticed that the moment I'm not engaging/clicking with a stimulus is a great moment to skip (though I still seem to have trouble doing it lol). I have also noticed that I absolutely despise anything LR question with abstr…
This post already has so many excellent comments from 7Sagers. So all I wish to say to you, is that we believe in you. You can do it. These "bumps on the road" are here to challenge you. They will help you grow.
Don't quit!

I could definitely see this becoming a a time-consuming activity. Maybe a possible alternative would be to limit the number of sentences that I write out (3-5 sentences)…
This is something that I was doing for a while as well. I would suggest though to reserve this for the most important questions, where you can maximize the return on investment. Previously, I tried to do this for every single flagged question on LR.…
It may be critical to identify why you are getting those LR and RC questions wrong.
What specific weaknesses can you identify? What trends in the data can you uncover amongst your recent PTs? For example, the thing that really pushed me from -5 to …

I'm still trying to narrow down my variance in my RC scores. Right now, it's between 2 - 6 questions wrong per section on average. Sometimes I ha…

Wow thank you for the very detailed comment! I must ask how do you keep up with the timing while testing? When starting a passage do you stop reading at a specific time lets say passage 1 where the clock starts at 35 do you au…
I see this as a phenomenon of a bell-shape curve (normal distribution). There's a sweet-spot for maximum effectiveness.
I do well when I can spend between 4 to 5 minutes reading each passage. That's enough time for me to digest most of the material…

Long distance endurance training and traveling. Going to travel Europe and cycle through the mountains while I live in Italy on the Army's dime.
@"Thought this was the GMAT" This sounds like a great life!
I would love to get back into long-distance cycling! 50+ miles in one day over the weekend and racking up the mileage in the weekday mornings prior to work. Average 100 miles per week.
This is a great question and something that I also wondered about. First, let's get one thing out of the way. When I refer to X number of hours spent on studying, that's the time being counted ONLY for when I am 100% focused on studying. Don't count…
