@LSATcantwin I think that is a great way to ultimately increase speed, but were there any other tips you recognized along the way for getting better/faster at the R.C section? I can only get through two passages comfortably, a…
For me speed came with exposure and practice. I did so much studying, and took so many pt's, that questions all began to look very similar. The "easy" questions took almost no time to answer, which gave me ample time to really sit and digest the "ha…

For a "non-profit" they sure are a greedy bunch of assholes.
I will never stop hating the LSAC.
Thank you 7Sage for adapting the course material to at least attempt to make it affordable!
I always read the stem first. My reasoning is fairly simple. Each question type has us looking for specific indicators in the stimulus. We are looking for flaws, conclusions, leaps in logic etc. I found I do better when I know what I'm looking for b…
I'm sorry. The LSAC is an absolute dumpster fire, especially in GPA calculations. They don't even understand their own policies, let alone the policies of all the different undergrad institutions.
You can try calling them, but don't expect them to …

It great to hear about your LSAT journeys. I have realized that this test requires a mental strength toughness to not give up, and to be honest it is not easy when you are not reaching your target score but what I can say …
The reason it is unclear is because the LSAC doesn't even know what they want...trust me, I've fought them.
Now for the bad news, they will take all your transcripts and calculate your GPA based on them. So you will not be able to avoid having the …
It sounds like someone at your test center reported an issue, LSAC investigated it, and they believe that offering a re-test is necessary.
Normally they allow you to choose to keep your score from the test or to cancel and re-take it; sort of odd t…

I'll be 39 when I start. Leaving a 14 year active duty military career as a senior Non-Commissioned Officer. Hopefully that will offset my rather sub-par GPA.

Fuck the LSAC. Pretty much all I have to say about that.
7Sage you're still amazing and I thank you for everything you have done to help people reach their dreams. I would not be where I am now without you and I will NEVER forget it.

Northwestern assigns you to a career advisor automatically for any private/big law work; however they also have a career advisor who is dedicated ONLY to PI. She is super helpful a…
Just for reference; I took all 80ish tests, some more than once, to get from a 150ish score to a 170 score.
Others are correct though nothing is linear and it takes a lot of work! Don't give up. Sometimes you'll see some improvement quickly and som…
They have to collect all the paper tests from all over the country. Then have to account for missing boxes or poor shipping. Then they grade them all and look for errors/cheating/citations on the test. Then they have to make sure the curve is proper…

You get a lot of info about each school and a TON of waivers. You also get a chance to talk to someone on the admissions team and can get insight into what they are really looking for in applicants. I went to the one in SF two years ago and it helpe…

For splitters the LSAT is key when shooting for T-14 especially. You are not wasting your time though.
I had a 2.83 cGPA but worked hard and coupled that with a high LSAT score. I got waitlisted at almost every t-14 I applied to, but just hung on f…
Just dropping by to wish everyone the best! Remember you are NOT your score, and how you feel about how you did is NOT always accurate. The test is over and take some well earned relaxation time!!

Taking breaks from studying. I went hard for a long time without any real breaks. Once I started taking them my scores became more stable. I also took a really long break between two actual tests and my score jumped from 163 to 171. I was burnt out!
