I believe the test datechange deadline is May 24, so you could reassess by then? That's what I'm doing :) There's a fee of $85 to change your test date. I guess that's assuming if you registered already.
It's different for everybody, but October is likely out of the picture so just prep for December with 2-3 PTs per week and see where you're at once the cutoff date for postponement/datechange arrives.
