I think it would! That is highly unique work experience, especially if you can demonstrate how that made you want to transition to lawschool. In this day and age, work experience is a huge plus and having something truly unique is even better.

This age is a great place to be and it's good that you're getting some work experience before starting lawschool. Enjoy this time and don't worry. Your application timeline sounds really good. And I agree with @LSAT_Wrecker.
