you definitely want to put in an experimental section. I might even recommend occasionally putting in a 6 section. @jayswims this is a great strategy. -

Have you tried putting your "experimental" section as your 2nd or 3rd section? I'd definitely recommend adding in an experimental section during your practice PTs.
