What do you think contributed to a precipitous decline on the June exam if you were relaxed? A drop like you experienced doesn't seem typical. Were there any distractions on test-day? Bubbling errors?
Just keep reminding yourself to pay careful attention when reading the scenario and rules. Maybe write a reminder to pay attention on a note card or sheet of paper and post it above your desk.
Excellent analysis of the question, which is very tricky. I think the reason why B is correct is that it doesn’t account for the clear decline in cigarette smoking. A good RRE answer will account for both parts of the discrepancy.
