I've had my personal statement drafted for months already. And I'm also applying ASAP (as soon as apps open up) in September. I have one LOR writer already lined up as well.
Curious if anyone knows how professional letters from lawyers/law firms are viewed by admissions vs. other non-legal jobs? Sounds like prevailing wisdom is at least look up your professors and try.
Definitely don't share the LOR. Too much risk of some lifted phrasing or something along those lines that will be very suspicious. I would drop the first prof, go with the second, and find another.
