I believe it's written on here, deep in one of the discussions. Is what you mean by "recent" the ones with the ComparativePassages? I believe if it's 50-70 you're good. It might even be like 53-55.
At the end of every practice test, there are 4 sources (sometimes 5 now because we have comparativepassages) always listed. Those are where the articles were pulled from for RC.
@emli1000 wow. Total RC fail on my part. I thought you were doing 4 passages under 25 minutes. LOL. Sorry about that. Brainfart as a result of doing 10+ RC Passages today.
And, if you did PT50 (Sept 2006), you haven't even gotten to the ComparativePassages era of LR. Another major shift; IMO, one for the better (I have the least problems on ComparativePassages, but others have different experiences).
I don't think the RC passages have gotten harder, but the answer choices are definitely a lot more trickier. I personally find the comparativepassages to be much easier.
Reread the difficult passage and locate the correct answers in the text when reviewing. After doing more passages you'll begin to have a 6th sense on potential test questions
I like the comparativepassages too, @leonsmoney ! It's definitely easier for me to maintain my focus through two separate 2-paragraph passages as opposed to one long 4-paragraph one.

There aren't, because JY only uses old LSATs for the problem sets, to leave all the recent ones pristine for full length PT practice. The comparativepassages were introduced in PT 52, and the problem sets use PT 1-38ish.
